wondering which one lasts longer....i mean like back home in my country everyone gets arranged for their marriage and the divorce rates there are really compare to other modern countries. Is it becuz women don;t speak up...or are arranged marriages just better. If you fall in love with someone can't you fall in love with someone else to....i'm keeping it short but...with arranged u get to the know the person and all so its longer lasting is what i here....which one is better?

People in arranged marraiges go into it knowing that it's going to take work to get used to each other and develop stable feelings for each other, so they do tend to last longer.
People in love marriages for the most part are shocked when they find out that it's not happily ever after and that a real true committment takes work and effort.

I would say marry for love. That way you choose the person you want to be with.
Some arranged marriages are done for the benefit of the family. Like the marriages between royalty hundreds of years ago - it was done for alliances, not because they actually fancied each other. If they did, it was a bonus.
And I guess it also depends on the culture of the people. Maybe women are taught not to speak up and just do as they are told, and marry who they are told to marry. I'm not sure what country it is, but I have heard of people not meeting their husband/wife until the day of the wedding. And I think in those cultures, you are encouraged to stay married, so maybe they either try to work things out, or just learn not to complain about anything.
In terms of which one would last longer, I guess it depends on the people in the marriage. If you have a system and it works you will stay together. If you marry for love, as long as you communicate with each other, then I say it would last.

What time is in Delhi? in California 9:45 PM and we still don't have arranged marriages. Is better be single whatever.

Sometimes I think that arranged is best. But I think it has more to do with cultural upbringing. I think more traditional societies take a more permanent view of marriage.

all i can say its all up to the couple itself....life is full of choices thou....nothing is impossible,rite....marriage is about a beginning,so no matter how long u may know the person will tell u how much u know abt ur partner.....when thing gone wrong,we solve it right.....divorce case is rising around the region but yet the matter is a lot of reason....all i can say its all depend on u n ur partner to determined the length of ur marriage......

either one works in different scenario...if you are an indipendent woman ...you better not go for arranged arraige...if you are a woman who comes from a culture where you have no say...arranged marraige or love marraige makes no differance
