It's most likely just the pressures of being i n the media, long periods of time spent apart on movie sets, travelling etcc..
Actully, sometimes it makes me wonder if some marriages are publicity ploys, because when power people come together, the media coverage is phenomenal.

Why is a celebrity's marriage not a traditional marriage, they are people just like everyone else. Why are you the one who is annoyed their marriage broke up, it sounds like you are way too involved in their lives.
Celebrities get divorved more often then non-celebrities because the lives they lead put more strain on a relationship.

They are celebrities, they have everything...but they have nothing. Look at all the celebrities searching for answers in Kabbalah, drugs, eating disorders, getting married, babies. A lot of people think that fame and fortune will fill them up and make them whole. Not so. It is hard to be spiritually centered when you are treated like a god.

Many celebrities live in fantasy land. They tend to be overly impressed with themselves and expect everyone else to think they're perfect. Unlike most people who may meet one or two celebrities in their life, they are surrounded by the "beautiful" people on a regular basis. I think it would be hard to separate fantasy from reality if your job dealt with fantasy all the time.
