well in my state when a couple separates one or the other can go to the court house file for temporary custody and the first one of you to do that gets temporary custody . so honey get to the court house before your hubby does.

Depends . If The Father Wants The Child And So Does The Mother .. they Will Go To Court .. If A Mother Willing Lets The Child Be With The Dad .. They Would Have Joint Custody.

Well the mother gets the child and than when you go to court you still get the child unless the father has proven you unfit but either way the court mainly decides on the mother and than makes the father pay

in a good split, joint custody is prevalent. otherwise the mother keeps the child and father gets the visiting rights.(it is to be noted that both the parents have to pay for the childs upbringing.)
