The time is near for me to proceed with the divorce papers. This is going to be a contested divorce coz he is adament not to give in to what i want though the cause of it is I cant reasonable live with him. He cheated on me, verbally and emotionally abuse me and now, I came to know he got a Private Investigator to check on me. To come clean, I have no other men to replace him. I dont need any at this point of time. Enough is enough. I just cannot reciprocate any love he claimed he has for me.

My question is, how do you prepare yourself emotionally and mentally while going through this hard walk without getting yourself too vulnerable for any potential "attacks" from him and crumble in the end.

I find myself both emotionally and mentally chaotic and find it hard to get myself grounded to get to where I want.

Pls help if it is possible. Thank you.

okay, i just started dating this guys about two weeks ago, i really love, or like him, not sure yet. Anyways, he hasnt grown up with the best life ever and has tried to kill himself a few times, he is saying now that as much as he wants to stay with me and his 2 best friends and 2 year old nephew, he might ask to be put into foster care, and he said if he does i probably will never see him again. should i stay with him and just see wat happens, or save myself the pain it might cause and break up with him now? OK my friend is so nice and every one loves her. Her name is LEXY ,too. It's sort of crazy but anyways she just broke up with her boyfriend and she is really depressed. Then a few days ago i found out is has been cuting herself. Now i kno that it is not my problem but we are like sisters. So i am very worried i tryed to talk to her and she said if u tell anyone she will never ever talk to me again. Her boyfriend though talked to me and said he wants to get back together. My beautiful wife is into the same old, tried and true sex (which works adequately for both of us). I am into the magic, spirituality and adventure of extended, creative lovemaking. It can have so many "textures" and "colors". Her style is to "get there and get done", very linear & straightforward, and I (badly) want more. I love her dearly (we've been together & faithful for 10 years) but I am having thoughts of getting with another woman. To me sex can be so much more than just "relieving yourself"---and I am so tired of doing just that 5-7 times a week (sex with her, and w/ myself).
A little context: we have a very active & demanding 3 yr old.My wife makes 2x what I make per hour and is the major bread winner, at the moment. She wants me to earn more.I have been an aerobic athlete most of my life & do have an enormous amount of physical energy.

friends, but I still am embarressed and uncomfortable..how do I control my embarresment..When I was with my friends who did not yet know i smoked, when they went for a cigarette, I pulled mine out of my purse, and asked "can I join you"? i am 55 years old and i have /has a 45 gf for three years during which time we broke up for 1 year because she was dong crack last june she was riding in a car not driving and was in a head on colloision which almost took her life 7 weeks in hosp 5 in intensive care i visited her in hosp and my old feelings for her came back and we got together shortly after her dicharge from hosp

Ok so me and my best friend were in a rather seemingly similar situation both very new to relationships and had met guys online. Well hers lived far away and we would talk about him and she would be so happy with him even tho he was 1k mile away. So anyway after a year she finally met him and he is currently staying with her. He is a 32 yr old and lived with his mother before comming up here to stay with and get to know her. He has not since tried to take her on a date or as far as I know pay for her dinner. All he does is makes sure she has enough money to pay for her rent(but doesnt help out with money besides micro managing her spending). Well besides all of this she wont even hang out with me anymore I know she has priorites now that her man is spending time with her (Btw he doenst even tell her if hes staying or not) but it just seems like 1. she doesnt ever have time for me or forgets when we are supposed to spend time together, or 2. she's to busy in the bedroom to get out.
