After being in a miserable and yet sometimes happy relationship for two years then I break up with him, had no communication for two months, can I still be friends eg coffee every now or then. I feel I can let go but worried he would take this as a chance to have me back. However Im finding it hard to break all ties. Please help serious answers only. Thanks

I don't know what went wrong?
This morning i woke up, walked into the bedroom and saw my g/f asleep with our 3 week old daughter resting peacefully beside her.
I stood there for maybe a minute and thought, this is it. this is all i want right here, right now. Both my g/f and i work, i'm a Teacher, and Sara is a web designer. we're not rich, but we are comfortable, and both of us are 31.
We went to college together and have been a couple for 8 years, over the last 2 years we have been talking about marriage.
Today when i saw then sleeping so beautifully, it hit me hard. i don't want anyone else, i have no other need except my beautiful g/f and out gorgeous daughter.
I made my mind up at that point. I went to the Jewelers, and bought a ring. when i got back Sara was up at work, in the study. i went down on 1 knee and asked her to marry me.
I don't know why, but she took a step back, grabbed the car keys and left.
i know it must have been a shock, but did i do something wrong?

What about inconsiderate sons and daughter-in-laws. I love my only grandchild to bits, she is three. I have had her two days a weeks since she was three months old (9 hours per day) but her mother packed up work earlier this year and I still have one day a week so her mother can "chill out" BUT its all one way traffic husband and I took granddaughter away on a 10 day holiday this summer and my mother who is in her nineties and lives on her own (I do all her work for her washing, cleaning and shopping) did not hear from them at all they live less than a mile away from her they did not even phone to see if she was ok or needed a loaf of bread. I cannot get over this if I make a fuss of it I will not see my grand daughter as it is I only see her parents when they either bring her for me to have her or pick her up. I take her swimming, to a nursery school where you stay with them to the park, shopping etc. What should I do ?

My Admire is sick yesterday, his been sick this month for 3days. Not only this month other days, his been sick having headach,fever and stomach-pain. I don't know what's wrong with him. Even deepavali he told lie's to my manager that he had stomach ach, my friends are fed-up with him, cuase of his excuse's for being sick. I belived his sick, but not always i belived
in him. I always think in my mind how i'm going to hung-out with a guy for being sick always. Will when i was alone with him, we waited for costumer to walk around the shop but there not much?? so i stand in front of him not so close just abit far about 4 steps away. His behind me, i want my Admire to talk to me, i waited for abt 10mins err.. he doesn't tlak to me i saw his eyes looking down on the floor. So i went off and say bye! and his working alone by now? last two weeks he told me to stay with him abt half an hour more, cuase no one talk to him. so i stay? But he knew that i admire him. so what do u tink??

We have been very close for ages now and he wont admit his feelings, he hints and flirts, and sometimes makes comments that have two meanings, but he has never actually come out with how he feels about me. i on the other hand have managed to turn this in to an obsession!! we havent spoke in the last two weeks and i'm worried about what may be going through his mind. My boyfriend used to be so amazing. He was open and romantic and made a point of doing special things for me. For the last month or so he's changed a lot. He is only ever nice to me when he is drunk (which is now every night), and hardly notices me otherwise. We live together and it used to work out pretty well. For the past few nights i slept on the couch, but he didnt even notice until the next morning. He also didnt ask why i didnt want to sleep with him. We used to have a very healthy sex life, but it doesnt seem like he really enjoys it with me anymore. The last time he enjoyed it was when it was completely dark and he couldnt see me at all. In the past he enjoyed doing it with all the lights on. I love him and hope to fix whatever is wrong. I tried doing nice things for him and buying him presents, even picking him flowers, but nothing seems to help. I just dont know what to do anymore.

He is so, so horrible with me I think it's going along the lines of emotional/verbal abuse. Why is he so nasty to me and to my mom so lovely? If he comes out with a question that is neither directed at me or my mom, I sometimes answer and he'll say, "I'M ASKING YOUR MOTHER NOT YOU" - like he's talking down to me tone.
