my husband hates confrontations. whenever we get into an arguement he just gives in leaving me guilty that i am pushing him to do what i want. in turn i become the bad guy. i am not pushy but there are times that i want him to understand my point and not just close his mind about it.

I just got out of a two year relationship with a guy two weeks ago. I moved about 40 minutes away from him, and since I have been there I have been hanging out with my first love. He is the guy who I lost my virginity to and the first guy I fell in love with. Is it to soon to start dating again? When I first saw him last week all those feeling I had for him came rushing back. My mom met this guy at a concert in madison (we're we live). i had a nice time living in madison i had friends, and i felt good on where we lived. but then i hear we're moving to phx az. when we got there i was really homesick. i went to school and meet some really good friends. we had a nice apt it was 2 bedroom, we had cable and internet. ya kno just like every relationship there we're fights. i could tell she was sad and i was home sick even after living there for 4 months. i didnt have any friends that lived around me. well after a year i keep begging that we move back and she agrees. i think shes sad at her b/f and im really home sick. so when we move back theres nothin. the area has gone poor. all of my freinds moved and we are living on a couch in my aunts living room.now looking back on it i miss phoenix. i missed goin out and seeing my mom smile. what should i do? my mom is very sad i feel bad for my mom and i feel i ruined her relationship. wat should i do about her sadness.

Before she told me that a watermelon was a vegetable. I asked you guys and it was confirmed as being a fruit. Now she is trying to argue that a strawberry is a vegetable. I have gone through a lot of hard times in my life and it has caused me to not look at the good in things before the bad. Basically my glass is always half empty. This has affected my husband to feel like he can never make me happy no matter how hard he works at it. In this past week we have almost gotten divorced twice. The truth is I am thankful for what I have. A great husband who provides for his family, a beautiful baby girl, and a home to call our own. I do tell my husband I love and appeciatate him on a regular basis. The problem is that on any given situation I can find something to complain about even if its not how I truly feel inside. This is beginning to take a toll on our marriage. I feel like I'm almost a robot when it comes to complaining, it comes out without effort. I want to stop this and save my marriage and live life and be happy. I just need advice on what I should do to stop this ugly behavior.

OK, there's a guy who I have chatted to online a couple of times, and he sounds sweet. He suggested a meeting, and I was ready to go ahead until he emailed his pic. He's just not very good looking.

OK, it might sound superficial but if an unattractive guy asks me out in person I can usually just answer with a plain "No thank you". In this case I didn't actually commit to a date but if I say no now, it's going to look bad. Truthfully, I don't think he's good looking but also I don't want to have to TELL him that.

What can I do?

He is a Vietnam Vet special forces. He does not trust me and beleives I am having affairs. the other night he kept a knife by the bed and patrolled the apartment,was convinced he was bneing trapped and watched and that I had guys in the apt that were going to kill him.

I don't know how to respond to his accusations, he says he knows what's gouiing on, that i ahve gone to the other side

I want to help him, I know I ahve not been there for him and initially I told him he was wrong --he keeps telling me the only way to get beyond this is for me to tell the truth--i will take a lie detector and he said this would helkp

i want him to be ok and know I care

I assume this means a break up, cos i asked her if that was permanent or not, after she finished her work, and she said she was too confused and couldn't say either way....she wanted to play it by ear. So a women I used to date, in fact was engaged to many years ago happened to be in town and we went out a few times for dinner and such. Anyway we are walking along downtown and out of the blue starts holding my hand as we are walking, then at another point out of the blue runs her fingers thriugh my hair on the the back of my neck.
