You probably just miss her presence, or the lust. There's a difference between that, and love. Love, means you deeply care for her in a way that it hurts, and you can't take not being around her, you'd do anything for her, you wish strongly just to here her voice and smell her scent. If you just miss her presence, meaning your miss not being alone, and you miss being able to have sex with her, but nothing more, thats different.

If you're asking what's love...Well in my opinion, love is a feeling that cannot be explained. It's priceless. It's something you take time to realize. When you LOVE someone, they're actually a friend. a very close friend. you can actually consider them a part of you. They understand you through silence. They're at your beck and call whenever there's something wrong or when you're just bored. All you do is think of that one person and wish to be with him/her at all times and you can't even think of life without him/her. If you love your x-girlfriend, there's nothing wrong. You just took a little longer...and when you dated her...you got to know her more. it's never too late

If you have to ask, then you don't know. Feelings don't turn off overnight but take time to heal, like a wound. You will get over it.
