We have been very close for ages now and he wont admit his feelings, he hints and flirts, and sometimes makes comments that have two meanings, but he has never actually come out with how he feels about me. i on the other hand have managed to turn this in to an obsession!! we havent spoke in the last two weeks and i'm worried about what may be going through his mind. After a lot of thinking i have decided to talk to him and say something along the lines of 'you either do or you dont please let me know' cos hes all i can think about now and i really dont want him to rule my life this way. I'm hoping i can get an answer from him so that i can try put an end to all this................what shall i do?????

just get him alone so he has no external pressures and start of slow tell him you like him and then ask him if he likes you if he says yes then keep going bit by bit with the conversation until you both have told each other exactly how you feel about each other. ie don't jump straight in and tell him everything he may get scared and not know what to do so just edge the conversation forward
but tell him enough so that he is confident about telling you the way he feels (sometimes all guys need is a bit of confidence too open up)

well first of you should not ask him that either you do or don't question... just when you see him take a deep breath and ask he some general questions, like do he have someone special in mind,and how he feels about you..i would also throw in something like this . that this guy you was talking to told you that, he didn't like you. then turn to your friend and say. that guy really hurt your feelings . then ask what do you think about me. and take it from there. hopefully with that question you will get your answer...

Why did you do that?If you realy love this guy you will have to wait for his response. If this is just a fling then just assume he doesn't feel strongly about you and just go find your new love.
I strongly feel that if you did not hammer on the subject you probably would not have needed to do this to your bf.
Putting presure on a guy to talk about his feelings is a big NO NO.

go for it, it may seem a little assertive but with you making the first move it will let him know that you are serious and you know what you want. even if there is doubt just go ahead and talk to him.
