What can I do, my 16 year old son is so afraid of his father that he has now refused to go over there. I do not want to be held in contempt. I am encouraging him to go but he is 6' 220#s - I can hardly MAKE him go. He talked in confidence to the Judge once and was encouraged to stay in touch. – I found out after the fact that my son did stay in touch by writing several emails to the Judge complaining about the way his father treats him. He thought that they would be in confidence as well – but the Judge forwarded copies to both attorneys. – When his father read them he went off on a big tirade. My son is now scared to go over there. – What now ????

because i have bee through alot this person and i need to know if i should stay or go because ofall the stuff hes put me through and still does he puts me down saying i do keep the house good enough and quit my job so can stayhome and clean and that i'm fat he says he does not care ithink he does and i 'm not that big i'm about average not 7 or anything after having three kids but i'm not that bad so any way ijust cant take the putting down anymore also we have a credit card together and i can't even use it if id i get yelled for use of it and when he uses it that totally different if its him on everthing andi'm to blame for everthing too all the time what to do??? hes jerk???

Do you consider that an oxymoron? My husband and I are former swingers. I got so confused that I cheated to see if I could find something 'real' and individual. Now I'm consider a cheater because he didn't watch and know about the guy(s).

I like this guy named Chris but I think that he is too scared to let me know that he likes me. We are best friends, but I am looking for something more from him and by the look in his eyes when we are all alone, I think that he is "Signaling" me to make a move. I just want some honest advice please. When we are around other people he acts like a normal kid, but when we are alone together he acts totally different.

Had a quite emotional conversation on the phone, as she wanted to knw about how i felt, she end up cryin on the phone for 15min...wen i told her that i really like her..at the mo she wants to be friends but if it's meant to be..she left it like that.

had to put the phone dwn at wrk coz i was goin over my lunch brk & she cud’nt even get herself to say bye...

problem it's gonna be two yrs till she can come over to live hear &before this we planned for her to vist me in the uk...


she didnt want things to change between us & still keep in contact...as it long distance thing/ diff countries..i said nothin will change , so a week later after we spoke, I sent an email jus chattin about stuff, showing that i was cool with everything..

How long will it take her to get bk to me coz it's been two weeks now, she aint got bk..?

bit confused coz she was adamant on the fact that she thought i'd mite loose touch, coz wat she said..

I need some unbiased outside opinions on this. I think I am right, but there is always the chance that I am only seeing my side. My girlfriend and I moved to right outside of Boston 2 1/2 years ago. The subway closest to us is about a 5 min car ride and once on the train you are in Boston in less than 10 mins. I think this is a pretty good commute time. The only problem is, the parking lot at the station fills up rather quickly and we have to be there by 7:45 AM in order to guarantee we will get a spot. My girlfriend hates having to get up so early every morning just for this reason. She could technically sleep another hour or so if she could walk to the subway. For this reason she wants to move to an apartment that is closer. I do not see the sense in it if we are moving out in less than a year anyway. Why not just tough it out? Also, it will be more expensive and I hate moving. She really, really wants to move. Should I cave in or tell her to suck it up?

that he's been in love with me for 7 years...since school days! He wrote me the most beautiful letter ever, (I HATE soppy stuff but he knows me so well it wasn't soppy just really beautiful) ANYWAY...I just dont feel that way about him! For 18 years of marriage my husband was agressive and controlled everything. Where he comes from men are head of family but I think that position stressed him. I put up with it for the sake of our daughter now 16 but I was very unhappy. However, I loved and still love him very much. Last year I found out he was having an affair and taking Viagra (he is 41). I was very hurt. He said affair didn't mean anything etc etc but he wanted to move out so he could re-assess what he wants to do in life as he always had to please others and compromise. Now he lives alone but comes back to our house every weekend. He treats me really well and we are enjoying our time together, but I can't understand why he needs to live away from us in order to treat us well? When I suggest that perhaps he should stay away in order to work out what he wants he gets upset and says he won't be given ultimatums, but I don't think thats what I am asking. Can't he see what he is doing to me?

I am married for 1 month and my and my husband live together with his mom, because his father died 2 years ago. I've visited his place very often, maybe 2 and a half years before we got married.His mother was/is nice but now, when I moved into his apartment, everything changed. It's like my mother-in-law doesn't agree with on anything.I started to renew the apartment, and she keeps behaving like it is only hers and I am a guest.that really annoys me, because she tells everything to my husband, not me, and then he comes and argue with me.She is so stubborn,and really old-fashioned ,but she thinks that she is right about everything.that really annoys me, because I argue with my husband because of her(and he is really attached to her).I am sick of being treated like I am guest in THEIR home, and I've spent so much money on renewing it.Help me pls, some advise, I can't take it anymore.He is so nice with me, when we are alone, and so far.

MY HUSBAND IS A COP AND WORKS MANY HOURS. WE HAVE ABOUT 2-3 HOUR TOGETHER BEFORE WORK AND HE IS BUSY PLAYING WITH THE DOGS, FEW MAN CHORES, AND PLAYING THE PLAYSTATION 2. I have probably been reading too much 'men are from mars and women are in venus', but have a male friend who has got himself into a lot of bother lately. I asked him for help a couple of months ago, (unaware of his situation) and have not recieved a reply from him.

I intially took the usual venus reaction which was that since I had helped him in the past, I was angry that he was not there for me. But in his defence, he did say he would help

But he has gone really quiet and I am worried about him, but I am not in a position where I can go barging in and asking if everything is OK. He is in a dark place at the moment. How can I help him if he is stuck in his cave, according to the book I should let him come out of it. But I am really worried about him.
