Of course they do. We all do. It's just that women mature at an earlier age than men. Women in their late 20's. Men in their early 80's. And this is from a guy.

I have aged on the outside but on the inside I still feel the same as i did when i was alot younger. I am more sensible now, but I have had to make alot of mistakes to get there, and some of them were not pleasant. Its only when I look in a mirror that I realise how old I am, because I'm still able to get the urge to do stupid things. So in answer to your question this woman has not matured for her age and never will.I'm even having Fire Starter played at my funeral, bet that will go down well.

I wouldn't return to my teens or twenties for all the jewels in the kingdom and i do not envy the young at all. i remember about being so young is being incredibly unhappy, confused, depressed and dissatisfied to the point where it caused me to be ill. This is probably down to a mixture of misfortunes beyond my control and the fact that i had no idea of what i wanted from life, or what is truly important in the world.
In many ways i can see some good in this suffering because unless you suffer hardship you can never appreciate the things that you have to their fullest. I think that it's easy to look at the past with bitterness and dismay but it is possible to value any experience as something that you can learn from and gain something important from
I'm looking forward to the future, i feel better than i ever have in my life, I'm more confidant than ever, and consider myself to be incredibly fortunate, i appreciate all of the people around me. if that is what age brings then i can't see it as anything other than positive.
as for how i look, i feel happier with myself than i have ever done, i'm not insecure about my appearance like i used to be and i do not feel the need to change to please others either.
i think that whether people mature and learn, is largely to do with how they face and cope with the hardships of life. If you are wise you will learn from your experiences, and hopefully this wisdom will prevail upon you before you end up in your grave. Time is a precious commodity and not to be wasted on things that do not matter.

Everybody grows and learns with age. Not just women. I admit they become more experienced in the ways of the world by the time they got kids.. and watch them grow up.. You know the saying "You only know your mother is right by the time you got a daughter who says you're wrong!" ... Now that's a big discovery. Girls now definitely need more sense and independence and I think they're living it out now. Nothing can stop women..

Of course we do. We mature faster than men, if that's what you want to know. I wish more women would develop some sense and independence. We're almost a dying breed.

I think that as women begin to age, they most certainly begin to mature! Much as a fine wine does.
By the time they are 50, their children have grown and they begin to no longer think of themselves in terms of the roles that they have filled over the years. Roles such as mom, wife, sister, daughter etc.
They begin to look inward to discover just who they are! They have gained wisdom over the years and confidence.
All this translates to a sense of who they are, what they are, what they are capable of, where they are going. Which, of course, fosters a liberating sense of Independence.
As for physical appearance, I believe that as we mature, our faces reflect the lives we have lived and the person we have become.
