Hey again.
Last night I had a major conflict in my family. My grandpa died, and it was my fathers father, so he didn't quite handle it corectly and relied on alcohol to numb the pain. Anyway, since I'm new to this, I'm not sure how you're supposed to feel. It was such a big event, and I feel like it was a dream, and I still feel really weird like I don't know where I am. Is this normal? It feels weird, and sort of lonely too. Thanks.

Here is my situation. I finally after years of trying, have a chance to fulfill my dream of going to school and getting an education in something that I have wanted since I was a kid. My wife knew this since the day we met, only because I didnt want to hide anything from her. This is the perfect opportunity seeing as how we have no bills, kids or debts. I really want to live my dream but she has given me the "me or education" ultimatum. I have a really great paying job at the time but I am miserable and have only stayed with it to save up for school. I really dont want to loose her but I also dont want to give up my dream. I dont think I can stay in my position at work till I retire 40 years from now but the money makes her happy. I dont know what to do, I am really stuck

i love this guy and i know he cares about me too. the problem is, he isn't looking for a relationship right now, or...he's scared to admit that he wants a relationship right now. everytime i talk to him i just fall deeper and deeper in love with him. I dont want to pressure him by telling him how i feel, but..i cant keep it in any longer. He tells me he loves me and that he cant wait to be with me, but yet....he says that its not going to happen anytime soon...or atleast within a few months...I do care for him, and i dont want to say goodbye, but would it be doing both himself and I a favor if i do? so he wouldn't have to deal with me pressuring him to be together...and so i wouldn't fall any deeper in love with someone that i may never get a chance to be with...should i just say goodbye?

we dated for 20 months, we never grew particularly close, never said i love you. i broke up with him because it really wasnt going anywhere (despite him maing me very happy most of the time) we had known each other since highscool (about 5 years). in a conversation a few weeks before i broke it off, he said he never ever wanted to get married and then when i said id have to break up with him at some point because i did at some stage in my life, he proceeded to tell me the type of guy i would marry.

i gave him a couple of weeks breathing room, and then we still saw each other in social environments and we didnt talk much, but he was always leaving as soon as possible. i txt him to see if we were alright, that i meant what said about being friends, and i got no reponse. its been 6 months and the last 2 (since the txt) he turns around and goes the other way when he sees me.

We were having a discussion about third world countries, when my gf said that she had no interest in working in or with countries with rape and murder. So I told her that is a generalization and that these problems can also be found in the Developed world. Then somewhere in the conversation she adds that she has no interest in working with crazy people. She majored in Political Science, I majored in Business. So she went on and made the case as to why her statement was accurate providing examples of third world countries where there’s chaos etc. At one point during the conversation she started to raise her voice (Probably because she was annoyed at having to explain herself) so I in turn got annoyed and I guess she could tell. She got up, left the room and said *you’re not even listening* started slamming doors etc. clearly showing that she was pissed off. I had to head to work so I went up to her after getting dressed, told her bye and headed out…Now what should I do from here?

I've been hanging out with a new bunch of people who dont really like my boyfriend, and bcoz they dont invite him around too he has now said I cant go to their house. I do not agree with people who try to make someone choose between one friend or another and normally would just stop seeing the person who tried to ask that of me. Also he did not like them in the first place, that is why i dont take him with me to see them. Should I listen to him or tell him to grow up?

I always hear women ask, "why do guys always go for the slutty girls and not the good girls." They ask like there is such a thing as a good woman. I have never met a good girl. her husband is my husbands mate, and she is known to be a bit of a loudmouth, she likes to show people up in front of others by insulting them, anyways she works in the same place as me, and recently i decided to change my hair, my fringe had grown so i decided to put it back off my face and dye it a different colour, i got nice comments from people but this one just wont shut up about it, she said i looked old, i don't suit it, it makes me look pale and gaunt, every time i see her she mentions it, she does this infront of people and it embarasses me so much, i recently lost 3 stone, i gained it after i went on HRT, so i felt really self concious because i have always been smaller and i lost confidence for a while, i had a hard time dealing with the weight gain and did something about it, she either does not like me or she's jealous, should i tell her to shut it, or should i ignore her, she's making me fell like bad all the time, but i smile at her and say nothing, suggestions please?

We Have been togeather 5+yrs, have 6 children between us and as you can imagine almost no money. Our Love may be infinate but our wallets are near non existant.
As we are still as deeply & madly "In-Love" with eachother now, as the day we realised our love was true...more so even... We want nothing but the best for eachother, but the basics of providing all we can for our family makes planning even a small wedding look more and more like a pipe dream. Some one out there must know a way to have a great wedding for pennies (so to speak). All thoughts and sudgestions are welcome.

I know that is usually the tradition :) However, does anyone think it feels weird to think that all these people at the wedding will know the night you have sex. Most people don't usually know when you have sex, for sure, but on this night they do. Does this make anyone feel weird, now that you think about it. What is a traditional ring? Are three stone rings good for engagements? What about these non-diamond stone ring? Are they as "accepted" as regular diamond rings? I am thinking of a three stone diamond middle and other stone accents. I'm not sure though, are they as "accepted"? Anything would help... especially from the ladies. I am getting married this coming July, and it will cost only $5,000 for 125 people. That includes the reception and wedding, but not my dress. Yes...I got the hook up! But I can only save about $2,500 by that time. I need help getting the other half! I am a full-time student, wife, mom, and we both have jobs. Expenses hinder us from saving more. We have no help from anyone else... Thanks!
