People say love won't come when you think about it. I'm single for 2 1/2 years and I always think about having a girlfriend... that's why I'm single? All my oportunities to ask girls out turned into failures so far. I could write a book, I dunno how I always find the wrong ones. If I still hope for love then I will still be single?

now he has threatend suicide...has been through bankrupsy etc...the second he got more credit he adds it up..he is a sweet guy but I don't think bailing him out is really helping..he never says thankyou and jsut expects help, I am sick of it...worst part he is almost 50. I see no end to this...help!!!!

Ok i have dated this guy three different times...I have broken up with him three different times and i had very good reasons but i still want him now that i am dating another guy. i feel bad dragging him around like this... i dont know if i should get over him by dating other people or should i try to work it out with him? the only thing thats stopping me is that there are things about him that bother me to no end but he has certain things about him that i can get no where else. omg please tell me what to do!

I have know this girl for 5 years, we have dated 5 or 6 times. We always have this strong connection, but never have done anything about it, or talked about it. I went out with her a few weeks ago and we had a great time and made out. Someone else is also dating her right now. my husbands cousins gave our 3 sons a 5$ jack in the box card for x-mas last year and they knew that we were going to be having x-mas together for 2 months. not only that but they were eating the jack in the box when they gave them the gifts. This year my mother in law is having x-mas day at their house and we are declining to go, my husband thinks that they were rude to give a "thoughtless" gift and doesn't wish to spend the holiday with his cousins if we can spend it at home. We usally drive 2 hours on x-mas day to his mothers. His family however says we are being rude for not appreciating the gift and thinks it sour of us for not wanting to attend. Are we being rude for wanting to stay home for once and do we have the right to be upset about last years gifts? Isn't it the thought that counts? But it seems to us that there wasn't any thought.

I need help from all you single moms out there.I have been married for 2ys and have a problem with my husbands ex-wife and don't know if its me or not.My husband has joint costody and is scheduled to get his child everyother weekend. We all live in a small town and his family has many family fuctions. If the fuctions fall on the ex's weekend rather than ask if we could swith weekends they just invite her to come. This makes me very uncomfortable as we are not on good turms and i feel she just goes because she knows how i feel. I have spoken to my husband and he says what can i do they invited her. When i did get him to speek to them they got mad and said just get over it we just invited her because we wanted his child there. But why not ask us first to see if we can get him before just inviting her? Also is it wrong for the ex not to ask us when she gets the invite she knows how we feel about this? So am i just overeating my husband said we won't go when shes there

My husband was abusive to me and my children and we have been separated for three months, although I left him in my mind long before that. I have moved away and started a relationship with someone I had previously been friends with. His living situation is such that he needs a place to live right now and I'd really like to ask him to move in with me, since he already spends a lot of time at my house, but I don't know what to do. I wonder whether it will affect my being able to get full custody of the kids in three months when I file for divorce (have to wait 6 months cuz I moved out of state). Also, my seven year old daughter likes this guy, but she is having trouble dealing with the fact that I have a relationship with him. She is upset that I will not get back together with her dad, even though he was abusive to her. This is so difficult. Anyone have any advice on how to handle the situation?

I been dating this guy for almost a year. We been doing the whole long distance thing because im in college (2hours away) but during the summer and thru all the times we were able to be together things got more intimate. But lately I havent been having n e interest in going to visit him so my excuse is "im working" although i am... im also partying. I feel guilty but then again hes the type of guy that is controling. its cool sometimes but it get frustrating. He also cries on the phone cuz he misses me (such a turn off) he loves me tho..so much i feel guilty if i was to let him go. he such a sweet guy and very attractive. My secret is... I became a stripper (to pay for school) and I have been dating some other guy. Some Jerry springer material huh?! but i can understand why it all happens now. Now that im in that position. So today the long distance guy is crying on the phone to me cuz he misses me and idk what to do what to say.. i swallow my heart.

Listen, I"m no idiot, I know that women get their " thing " MONTHLY..so why not time it for Monday to Friday..NOT THE WEEKEND, that is my point. Why ruin my weekend ? I work hard to keep my wife in a nice house and have her nails done, and all I want is some chicken pot pies ? What is wrong with that ? She stays home with the kids and doesn't work, I think she has it pretty darn good. all I'm asking is that she times her monthly thing during the week when I"m at work and I don't want sex anyways..why does she insist doing it on the weekend ? You women band together like blood lusting coyotes sometimes and I think you're rude to time it on the weekends..so get a life !!!

My son is eight. His Dad and I recently got divorced. It has only been six months since we separated. I have custody of our son and my ex sees him every other weekend. I know my son misses his Dad and I tell both of them that if they want to see each other at any time I am okay with it. However, my ex rarely takes me up on the offer. When my son tells me he misses his Dad I encourage him to phone him. But he does not. Also he will not talk to his Dad when he calls. I am trying to understand his behaviour. I know a few times when he has called his Dad he could not get in contact with him. Is he afraid his Dad will not be available? My son will talk to me about how he wants us to give things another try and I do my best to let him down easy. I just wish I knew what was going on inside his little mind. I worry about him. Any suggestions?

I firmly believe we need to enlist the services of a maid at my house. My mother works a full time career as an accountant and by the time she comes home is really too tired to do much cleaning. During the summer when my schedule was a bit lighter I was able to take care of the cleaning but in the school year I have to juggle my 6 classes with a part time job and I barely have time for dishes and laundry. Our house is in sad shape and the rest of my family are sloths when it comes to chores. When I brought up hiring a maid this morning my Mom started yelling like I was personally attacking her. This is not the first time we have argued about this issue, but I wish we could try out hiring a maid just for one week to see how she does. Mom doesn't even want to give it a chance and she's too angry with me to discuss it further...Dammit I wish we had a maid to help out!

Okay so one of my guy friends told the other guy I like I liked him and then the next day the guy I like informed me that my friend had asked him if he liked me but he never said he didn't.
