I agree and the reason is I believe it is better to have known what love is like and lose it than never having it at all

Yes, I agree in a strange sort of way. To love and win his heart is obviously the best thing that could happen to a woman. However, to love and lose his heart is something that will tear you apart. I still think it is better than not loving someone at all. At least you have had the experience of love.

All you can control is your love. If you can love and not expect anything in return, you will always win, whether his heart is involved or not. That is what unconditional love is. Loving someone and expecting a certain result dangerous because you don't have any control of his heart.
