In fact, i use baby a lot to address my other half. obviously, she's not a baby but i just unconsciously say it. i think it is because i hear it a lot in songs and on T.V. in general. if you are one of the ppl who don't use this term, what do you say instead?

..okay, it's like this, i'm feeling out of place with my friends and i think they are replacing me with another one of our friends, who we hated just last year..and one of our friends is (i think) avoiding me..what should, and what can i do to be "in" in my group of friends again...? and what's the limit i shouldn't cross to make them think i'm trying too hard?

ok so my ex that i just broke up with was verbally abusing me all the time.... calling me a sorry *****, a peice of ****, etc. when im the one with the job and vechile and not him and he has pushed me twice and recently just slapped me and he is a real bad alcoholic. well i love him with all my heart and would do anything for him but he controlled me and always accused me and found out he was cheating on me. well i finally got tired of it and broke up with him and now i just don't know what to do...... i'm scared to get close to any other guy becuase of that..... i'm not sure if i like the whole being single thing. but i can't go back to him right???? i just need some help and advice cause im all confused.

I was in relationship with a white woman from france and since 4 years now she went on a United Nations Mission in one of the african country, i don't hear from her for quite sometime now almost 3 years and i am lonely no girlfriend and i don't feel anything like love for black girls over here. really i need someone to take me on. I know it sounds harsh, but Im serious. I am a family oriented person. This girl is my age(35) single and has one daughter. OK. She is a recreational drug user. Thats really none of my business, except she asks me to babysit. I usually do because her daughter is pleasent to be around. I know if I say no she will send her daughter to her Oxy dealer for the night.
Here is the deal. She NEEDS me for every freakin thing. If I dont answer the phone after the the sixth or seventh time she will come knock on my door. When I finally answer the door........all she wants to do is share a smoke and talk about her wild night of drinkin.
I just want her to leave me alone. I dont want to be mean. I really dont care if she thinks Im rude, I just want to get my point across. We are neighbors, and our children are friends, so I do have to be nice.

Does anyone know where I could find out if my hubby's birth parents are trying to trace him? He was adopted as a baby, but we don't know his full name before he was adopted or anything about his parents. We have tried searching a Births, Deaths and Marriages site but found nothing. Are there any websites that parents trying to find their adopted children post messages on?
He is not sure that he wants to contact them but would like to know if they are trying to find him before he decides what to do!

I love people and get on with all ages and gener. My sons present girlfriend has told me that it is disrespectful to still stay in touch with my sons two ex girlfriends, whom I get on so well with. We meet for chats and coffee and it is understood we do not discuss my son and his present girlfriend. So i can see no harm. Do you think I am wrong?

I want to ask someone I like to be my wedding date. Him and I have discussed it before and he said he could most likely go with me. How do I bring it up again since I have to have the RSVP in by next week? Him and I like each other and have feelings, so I dont know why Im so scared to ask. My girlfriend says she loves me and we get together at least every 1 1/2 months. The distance is difficult. Recently, on certain evenings when I call, she is not there and won't respond until the next day or so. I suspect she is seeing someone else but don't want to jump to conclusions or become crazy. Should I confront her or just trust her.

I had a job interview today in a city 1 and a half hour train ride away, and after that I was going to meet my bf.
However I desided not to go for this interview, since I thought it's not interesting enough...
My bf sounded he wanted to see me very much and hoping me to come just to have a dinner with him, though it's raining and gloomy out here in UK, and I have to pay around 17 pounds (around 32 USD) just for this dinner trip...
Should I still make an effort to go, or should I say not today, and leave it to the end of the week to make him wait...?
I know it's stupid question, but an idea would help!

I am a male, I have a friend who is a female. We are (or at least was) close friends. She invited me to her high school dance as friends, we had a great time together and took pictures. But then after that saturday, we ended up argueing and fighting. I took my rage on to her and now she thinks I am anal. I didn't mean to hurt at all. I had a bad week after the dance. I tried to catch up with this old friend from college, but she had to go out of town before she could get back to me. When she returned, she called and apologized profusely! She seemed nervous while leaving the message and told me twice why she couldn't make it. Here are some lines from the phone message:
