I tried to catch up with this old friend from college, but she had to go out of town before she could get back to me. When she returned, she called and apologized profusely! She seemed nervous while leaving the message and told me twice why she couldn't make it. Here are some lines from the phone message:

"yeah so give me a call, I’m sorry that I missed you. Um…but maybe….next time…….I can…get in touch with you and we can get together and catch up. Um that would be awesome!"

"So If you want to give me a call back, you can, or I can try to call you back sometime later. I want to see what’s up in your life because I haven’t seen you since ’s wedding."

"And have a wonderful day. This is a really long message! *giggles* And enjoy yourself! And I will talk to you later, alright."

She may have been busy or distracted while leaving the message. I'm sure she wants to catch up, otherwise she wouldn't have called you back, and asked you to call her back. Maybe she had a crush on you in college that you didn't know about, and that's why she was giggling and being talkative. That's how I get around people I'm interested in.
