I have been in an on-going battle with my ex since my daughter was 2. I have done all that I can to provide for her. I have tried to be a good father and bond with her. But many years ago the ex moved my daughter to north Florida with her 2nd husband.

She later moved to south Florida with her 3rd husband. Since then the problems only seem to get worse. The ex has done more and more to isolate me from my daughter. The ex fills her head with who knows and making it harder for me to be her dad.

Now that my daughter is 15 I recognize the need to have time away. But I still would like for her to be around. I try and talk with her everyday, but the conversations are cryptic at best. Usually limited to yes and no answers (yes typical teen).

I do everything I can to not bad mouth her mother, but it is getting harder with her subversive ways to isolate me from her. I try and give my daughter space, but I can't seem to reach her to talk with her. I love her so much.

Everytime my partner and i have an argument, he wont talk to me. We had yet another argument on Friday and we spoke yesterday and we seemed ok and made up after it and i came to my mums to stay while he went playing rugby. I havent heard from him since then and he isnt replying to my messages and im supposed to be going home tonight. I dont know what to do for the best!!

I had a friend that was strictly booty call, after a few time meeting we started talking and getting to know more about eachother. After about 5 months we tried it without protection. After that things havent been the same. We started having feelings for eachother, and now 9 months later we are telling eachother i love you. I know what i love is i have a daughter, but the question is can it really be love considering im 17 and he is older than 25? I know that teenagers think differently than adults do, but i love him just as much as i love my daughter, but i question myself because of how things started out. Our emotions are steady, we dont ever argue ,and when he's out of town im not dying and cant concentrate. I manage to stay focused on my school work i cant even look at another guy because it seems like he is perfect for me. what do you think

i was babysitting an 8th month old baby...and it's not like i've never been around babies before, it's just that this baby's never been around me. anyway, the whole night was good, until i had to put her to sleep. and then she went BIZERK! so while she was crying i just called the mom and said ,"Do you just want me to keep her awake until you get back? Or keep trying?" and what do ya know..she came home.

i told her it was just the sleeping part that was hard, but do ya think she'll ever want me to come back? i mean..would you want the babysitter to call you for help? does that show responsibility or "not ready for babies yet"?

i feel SO bad cuz' i probably ruined her dinner (or whatever she was doing). although she said she was about to go anyway. any thoughts?

My boyfriend of four years says that any guy who talks to me does not want to be my friend and is only looking to get with me. He gets really jealous and upset if I mention that I had to work in a group at school where there were guys. Every day he asks if a guy talked to me and I don't feel like I should lie. I think that these guys who do talk to me have no interest in me. Should I just avoid contact with all males? How do I get him over this feeling? or is he right about guys and im oblivious?

I have been married for 14 years. It was a first marriage for both of us and we have 5 children that were born very close together with our youngest being 7 years old. We met in college and dated for a few years before we were married. During all of that time we were both fit and active. It has been 7 years since the youngest was born and she hasn’t lost the weight. I have tried several different gyms, training dvd’s, home equipment, etc but it hasn’t worked. We do activities together and she is strong and healthy but also carrying the extra weight. She is not happy about being overweight either. She wants to get back to her younger weight and she has tried many diets and trends. So far, nothing seems to work. I came across this Q & A board and I’m hopeful that someone has some real advice that might help us. Thanks in advance.

ok... there's a guy i think likes me but idk if he does for sure. he sits close to where i sit at lunch and whenever i look over at him, he's looking my way! The other day when i was coming out of my 7th period class, he was coming out of his at the same time(his 7th period class is close to mine) and his arm brushed mine! His friends always look my way too lol... that's weird. Even when he's not... his friends are always where i am. What do you think about this? Does he like me or not? ok he rejected me weeks ago but he is staring at me and we have the moments where no one is here except me and him. but he has a gf.. unfortuantely.. I've been dating+ a wonderful guy for just about one year. Unfortunately, he's been unemployed through the whole period; but has been really working hard and interviewing to get a job. The market's tight; but, finally, there are several opportunities on the front. I'm lucky enough that I have been able to help him out financially (100%) so that his lifestyle didn't change and he didn't take a job just for the purpose of taking the job and being miserable. I really love him and he tells me he really loves me; but, there are those few items on the table that still bug me..including not having access to the apartment (like I'm really just going to walk in). It's not the money, truly. If it were, I'd of stopped that a while ago. I have friends that say I need to cut the ties immediately, but I hate to kick someone when their down. Plus I just know that as the employment side changes, he will be a different person. Am I just nuts or what?
