Do what you want to do. If you enjoy knitting, keep knitting and knit with pride. Some people can't understand what it is about knitting that is interesting and fulfilling. Too bad for them. It shouldn't influence what you do or how you feel about knitting. If anything, it tells you something about how ignorant, insecure and closed minded the people are who make fun of you.

Keep on knitting. There's not a thing in the world wrong with it. The reason they make fun of you is because they are jealous and they don't have a hobby themselves. You go girl !!!!

Knitting takes skill and effort. If people make fun of it, just explain that at least you USE your talents. Tell them that acting like an idiot isn't really classified a "talent."

Hey I think thats cool!What you do is nobodys bizwacks and as long as you aint hurtin any body else which your not who cares what other people think!And if you love and enjoy what you do keep on doing it!Hey have you thought about selling what you knit some people do this as a living,hobby do it for your enjoyment and nobody else..You go gurl!!

Keep knitting. When you are sporting all your fabulous scarves and creations that cost an arm and a leg in the shops, your friends will want you to make them some.
it's such a great hobby. People make fun of me too sometimes. I can relate....LOL.

My aunt and my sister and my grandmother knit and derive a lot of pleasure from it.

i knit, when i find time to,dont' worry about what others think about you, just do what makes you happy you can't live your life trying to make everyone happy, follow your heart, it will lead you the way......good luck
