My husband is in the military, and by the time he comes home from Korea we will have been apart for 2 years. All I want to know is how to be happy because I forget how. Watching our son grow up without him is so hard, it breaks my heart everytime I see him do something new because I know his daddy missed it. Six more months, but I dont know how to keep going anymore.

I have been corresponding with an older man (we are both in our 40s) for 3 months now. I think he is getting serious - he said "love you" for the first time. But i can't say it back to him as we haven't even met each other. However, i like him enormously and think we may have a future. What do i do next? Should i be open with him and tell him of my uncertainties?

Two months ago, I asked a question about this guy. He's a chamber musician I play with, a very kind person; I really like him. Two months ago, I heard that he had a girlfriend, but he never mentioned it to me. He is reserved, but also, I think he particularly didn't want me to know. He was, however, very careful then to observecertain boundaries, and, while there was some flirting, I don't think it was really destructive. He also seemed very cautious about doing things with me. This is no longer the case.

There has since been a dramatic shift. He is suddenly much more available, more open, more interested, subtly flirtatious, and my friend questioned him quite closely, and all of his questions which should have been answered with," I have a girlfriend," or "I am living with her," were answered in the negative. Something tells me he has broken up with her, but I am not sure. Anyways, I really like this guy. He is the kind of person I could see something serious with. What should I do?

I've just found out that my husband's father's fourth (yes, 4th!) wife is pregnant. Hubby's dad is in his 50's and his latest wife is in her 30's. He has a young child from his previous marriage who he no longer sees and he was not much of a father to my hubby when he was growing up.
My husband and I are desperate for children but will have to wait at least 3 more years as we can't afford it yet. Hubby's dad knows our situation and is pretty well off and could help us out but he says he can't afford to. But apparently he can afford to keep his new wife in jewellery and pay for a nanny (god forbid they should care for their child themselves!) I know that I should just accept the way things are with good grace and be happy for them, but I'm eaten up with jealousy. I had a miscarriage in July and it just seems so unfair. I'd appreciate opinions and suggestions - am I being unreasonable or am I justified in feeling so bitter?

I decided it would be a great idea to crap in the pocket of her jacket and zip it up. She didn't find it for 7 hours and by then it was mashed up. She always asked 'do I smell like sh*t?'. I always gave her cute answers and when she finally put it through the wash it went everywhere and she freaked out! I told her I was being spontaneous. Who would expect their bf/gf to crap in their jacket?? Not me that's for sure! She said she meant things like expensive dinners and jewelry. Why does spontaneous have to involve taking a hit to the wallet when a prank like that is free? I think I would remember the time my girl pinched off a loaf in my jacket more than any material gift she ever gave me.

I finished my 6 year relationship with my boyfriend a few months ago. he was very controlling and had a violent temper, although he never actually hit me. i do still love him but i couldnt stay in the relationship any longer. i know i have done the right thing but why do i feel "lost" without him?i dont want to get back with him but do feel like a part of me is "missing". how can i stop feeling like this and move on?

Me and my boyfriend have been together on and off for like 3 years. He cheated on me a few times in the beginging and like middle of our relationship. Anyways, he always has these pictures of girls. One was two chicks kissing, and i was like whatever, it was at work and they were ugly so i wasnt gettin all stupid girl friend on him, you know? Then he had a pic of this b*tch in panties and another one with just her face. The only reason i saw them was cuz i was lookin at his pics to see if he kept the one i sent a few days back. Sure enough he didnt. But he kept hers. He made up all these excuses and then even said he got them sent last night, even tho it said it was recieved 3 days ago. He tried to say it automatically saves to his phone. He works with her. What do i do. I am not a stupid girl who gets played, i just need to know if i should throw in the towel, or what i should do. I'll admit it i'm insecure. I get severely jealous over anything my g/f does. She has a myspace account, 360 account, friends (most are female but there's a couple guys she interacts with).
