Do girls like being called hot instead of beautiful?

yes, i've always preferred hot a little bit more than beautiful, only because i want to keep my guy sexually attracted to me. that's the way to man's heart after all!
Plus, when you tell is we're hot it means you like our body and the way we move. If you say jessica alba's hot when she comes on tv and then tell us we're hot later, it makes us feel like we don't have competition, not even with a model because youonly have eyes for us.
Beautiful, is something that should be said more rarely and very meaningfully so as not to lose its impact!

Interesting question, thanks. When the moment is right, I like to hear both. I am a surfer by trade so when I am in my bikini and some guys or girls say I am hot it makes me proud. But at other times, in the evening, when we are just sitting on the beach and someone says "do you know you are beautiful?" then I always blush but it feels even sweeter.

Depends on the girl I suppose. But I believe you're safest with "beautiful". There's not a woman on earth that would be offended by that; it's like the ultimate compliment.

When my bf first told me I'm extreemly hot, I thought negatively because "hot" sounds something very sexual rather than a compliment to yourself as a whole.
Now, he says I'm gorgeous every time he stares at me, and I like that alot.
But don't use that word alot to anyone. If the girl isn't your gf, let her know that she's very attractive, and beautiful.
Hot...it depends. For me, it was a negative.

Both of them are very good words to say to a gf or bf. It improves our self-esteem and makes us feel good about ourself. hot is like: "WOW" with glittering eyes!
