My boyfriend of four years says that any guy who talks to me does not want to be my friend and is only looking to get with me. He gets really jealous and upset if I mention that I had to work in a group at school where there were guys. Every day he asks if a guy talked to me and I don't feel like I should lie. I think that these guys who do talk to me have no interest in me. Should I just avoid contact with all males? How do I get him over this feeling? or is he right about guys and im oblivious?

If an opportunity presented itself these guys would pursue you . Having said that you need to live your life . Be sure to set boundrys with your male friends .Also tell your boyfriend you see his point and reassurre him you wont cheat.Its tough but us guys are thinking about what if she jumps my bones all the time(not that its going to happen that you will jump your male friends bones but thats what there thinking)

well i'm having the same problem, i'm 23 and my boyfriend is 41. all my life i have had more guy friends than girlfriends because i just get along with too many girls. i've been with my bf for over two years and i have had to tell some of my guy friend that i have known for years to go away and stop calling. my bofriend won't even let me talk to my best friend who just happens to be my ex of 3 1/2 years, who has a another girlfriend with two kids. my bf doesn't understand that i broke up with my ex for a reason and that there is no way i will go back to him. i have to just keep it to myself when i talk to any man, and as for my ex who is my best friend, i have'nt talked to him in months. but i can't leave my man because i love him. so when you find a solution please let me know!!!! good luck

If you are attractive, then it is most likely the single guys that talk to you are trying to tap that ***. They do not want you as a friend whatsoever. Do not fool yourself. As for the boyfriend, that is what he is, just a boy. You need to find yourself a man that is confident enough to allow you to live your life the way you want to live it. This guy needs to grow up. Dump his *** and test the waters.

You've got yourself a low self esteemed and controlling boyfriend. Not all guys want to get into your pants, and there definitely isn't anything wrong with having guy buddies. Get rid of him before he starts deciding what you should and should not wear.

If he just get jealous over guys you talk to just cuz he thinks you are in love with him dump him. and IT IS NEVER WRONG TO HAVE GUY FRIENDS. WHY DOES YOUR BF THINK SUCH A THING? OMG HE IS WAY TO OVER PROTECTIVE... until he knows that there is nothing wrong with having guys friends I say not to talk to him. but if he says it is wrong to have guy friends he is also saying you shouldn't talk to him cuz he is considered a guy friend as well.

NO there is nothing wrong with having guy friends... dont start that crap of not speaking to guy because this is just a way of your bf controlling u, u think it will stop there, HELL NO, next it will be dont wear makeup, dont go out with your friends, let me see your phone, who is this number.... STOP HIS CONTROLLING WAY NOW! And if he doesnt like it, your young u have your whole life ahead of you... tell him to walk....

he is not overprotective, he is very controling! dump him before he he starts telling you where you are "allowed" to go. He is already telling you who to see. Next he'll be choosing your friends for you. don't stick around long enough for him to do that. you deserve someone who will love and resect you. good luck!

your boyfriend is over protective. if the love is really there then he shouldn't care who you talk to because you will always go back to the one you love.

rather no longer, I hug all my guy buddies. merely because of the fact I hug them doesnt mean i choose to have sexual intercourse with them. Lol. they are merely my buddies. frequently once I go away a occasion, I hug my guy buddies.
