People have a million different definitions for love, so I offer this one into contention. When I say love, I mean of one person for another. When I see that in play, the associated behaviors are often protective, possessive and loyal, as if they are afraid that what they covet will be destroyed or taken away. What do you think?

my mom and dad are arguing. Normally, they argue and they are okay. But this time, they don't want to sleep in the same room. Neither one wants to give in. my dad has'nt ate for one day. they didn't talk at all today. Im sad and frightened. my mom is crying all the way in her room. and my dad been sleeping on the couch from just now. what should i do?

welll actually, i know their problems. Yest, my grandmother past away. and i left only my grandma who is on my father side. which means she's my father's mom.

My fiance and I want an outdoor wedding but we want it up at his cousin's ranch. My parents are totally against it. But it has the best layout. It has a pond with a gazebo right in the middle of it. We are doing a beach/haiawiian style so my parents said the beach but they don't want us getting married at the beach his family goes to they want us to get married at the one my family goes too if we have it at the beach. But then again his mom already says that she feels left out of the wedding plans because he doesn't want to talk about it right now since its in 2008. What should I do?

Ok I know that sounds like an obvious question but let me explain. I was dating this girl for 4 years when we decided to take a break. Rules of the break though, were that we would just talk less and not see other people. Well, a few months go by where we were still talking (but assuring eachother we weren't seeing anyone else. Anyway, turns out she was and did for a while. Anyway, after about 3 months and a lot of apologies I took her back. She has been great since (been about 8 months) but I haven't really gotten over the trust thing. Anyway, I put my profile on a dating site and have met someone that I am really interested in. Its only been 2 dates but there is a great connection. I don't think my girlfriend has any idea that I have these major doubts, and the relationship is probably 50/50 to survive. I just don't know if its worth throwing away a chance with this new girl just for 50/50. I mean I would hate it if this new girl turns out to be psycho and I lose my girlfriend.

My husband is abroad and we have been apart for 1 year now. We have a great relationship and he calls mostly everyday. I trust him 100%. Some people have said so many negative things about him. I know him better. I'm still his baby..... Can't wait to see him in October.....

I have been involved with my friend for about 3 months now and I am in love with him. I have know him for a year and we hang out all the time and we are both managmous he is 32 and I am 21 and we both work in the same building. He says were not in a relationship when he is sober but when he is drunk he tells me he loves me and i am his girlfriend. I have meet all his family and friends and he has met most of mine. I don't know what to do? Should I stay or go? On to my second question I'm 2 months late on my period and have been getting sick for the last month and have had to go to the bathroom like every 15 minutes for the last month also. My symptoms are nausea vomiting and my back hurts all the time. I also have been eating strange things like pickles and ranch and have been eating constanly. what does that mean? any advice would be appericated?

i'm from texas and me and my friends have this conversation about men all the time. its just like guys nowadays are waaay too spoiled. they are not like they use to be. they want you to pay for this and pay for that, act like you are their momma, they basically want to be spoiled like females. i dont think i ask for much, just have your head on straight, know how to treat a girl and be a gentlemen, know what you want to do in life, and just be focused and have goals. it just seems like that little description is just way too much to ask. its just like the role of men and women is changing. and what's worse, it that i lot of women are actually spoiling these dudes and giving them everything they want and not allowing them to be real men. now im not saying that every man is bad or how im describing (because i know there are some food one out there), but there is a shortage of good men with morals. i just want feedback on my thoughts. does anyone else feel the same way? how do you feel?

I have been with my boyfriend for over 9 months. I love him and so does he.....we feel so diffenrently about each other then we ever have. We know what we have is true love...but he has recently become so busy and been pushing me to the side. We argue over little things and they never get resolved because he gets mad and ignores them. He thinks we just need time apart but I feel this won't do anything but make us grow farther apart. Whats good advice to help us stay together? I know this could work....I'll do anything to make this work. The love...the chemistry....the bond...the understading is all there but what are we lacking or doing wrong? Help please!!

help me figure this out. So here is the deal I started a job a couple of years ago, and has see a good looking co-worker and thought that until this day. We worked together for about 8 months before I found out he was married....we flirted back and forth like crazy in that time span.I checked the ring finger when everything initiated....nothing there.So I was more than shocked when not only did I learn he had a wife but he also had 3 kids.The problem is that we sealed the deal by sleeping together @ a xmas function. Have have continued on since.We are not sleeping together ever chance we get I should point out, but when we work together(we go through a rotation) the sexual tension is thick.I am not even sure what I am asking here, but I need some type of feedback, I obviously have not told anyone for fear of what they would think..which is not good.I do ask everytime that he is sure he wants to do this.I guess it's so I know, I am not pressuring him to do it. Tell me what you think!

i have been with my boyfriend for 6 months.he is sucha good boyfriend and i really love him but it seems like i have nothing to talk about with him.i can talk to some of my friends for hours but with him i cant even start a conversation.i feel comfortable around him so i dont know what the problem is.he told me today that im not a good girfriend and that i dont spend enough time with him and i never talk to him.i know that it is true so how can i be a better girlfriend?

She has no family members that will stay with her. She doesn't always need hospitalization, but does need help with personal care and safety along with psychological comfort. And assistance with breathing treatments and medication management..
