We had the perfect wedding for us. We eloped. We were married at Casa Loma (landmark castle) in Toronto. It was a great time, but it was just one day. Many times have compared, such as having children, enjoying long stretches of domestic bliss, etc. We've been together 10 years.

May 2,1987 in my husband's grandmother's front yard with close family & friends. The ceremony itself & the reception yes, I had a good time. It was just after we left that I didn't.

I love my husband dearly. But I just wanted for us to get away by ourselves after the reception & he wanted to hang around with his friends & family. Needless to say, over the years he would rather spend alone time with me than family or friends. Especially after 4 kids.
