I have been married for 26 yrs. I keep the house, raised two lovely daughters, handle all the finances, do laundry, get groceries, make meals, plan menus, do yardwork, and when my husband has a bad day, rub his back. That is how I show my love by taking care of my family.

I try to think before I say something...b/c I want to make sure I'm not nagging or griping, and I'm communicating exactly what I want to say. I give him lots of affection, and say yes a lot more than I say no. I tell him every day that I love him. I cook his meals, clean our house, and do our laundry. It's my way of showing him that I'm grateful for the love he gives me.
I also try to think of stuff that will make him smile. We have the most playful relationship--mostly b/c we care enough to think up the craziest stuff just to make the other one laugh! It's all about loving the other person enough to go above and beyond what's expected of you in a relationship....b/c you want to.

You show your love through your actions towards that person. If you truly love someone, it would show in your everyday communications with that person.

I don't know! I'm very friendly so I can't say touching, smiling or compliments. Gifts, either. I buy gifts for old friends, new friends. Write them letters or poetry out of generosity.
So maybe just saying "I love you so much!" and cuddling up to next to 'em if I were dating 'em.
But if it were family, they already know it. We take care of each other no matter what.

the best way to show your love to someone is by helping them , and by always letting them know that you are going to be there for them through anything that happens , and by telling them that you love them.

Patience. Periodic reminders of how wonderful she is. Presents from time to time. Hold her hand. Listen to her.
And never, ever, even in jest, even if just to agree with her, say that "yes, those pants do make your butt look big."

I tell people at work and then I call her on her cell phone and have a lovey dovey conversation with her on the phone. Where I work it's considered "weak" to express love and emotion at work.
