My bestfriend is having really bad depression over something I don't understand; She has incredibly low self esteem in every aspect of her life,body, and mind. She never thinks she can accomplish anything. Her grades are dropping in school because she says she can't comprehend it no matter how hard she tries and no matter what help she gets so she's giving up. Some days she won't even come out of the house because she thinks she's ugly. I have known her all my life and don't know of anything, or anybody, that could be causing these feelings towds herself. Everyone reassures her that she is a beautiful and intelligent girl but she simply cannot see it! I am always here for her and I am always supporting her and making sure she knows she is loved and has someone to talk to about anything and everything and is always here for help, but she does not seem to be getting any better no matter what I do for her, or she does for herself. I know it's not for attention,only I know about it! Help?

I have already got a great offer on a rented room and i donoe why what is pulling me back u see (please see my Q & A about my problemS) i really cant agree with dad anymore i always wanted to go out. now i have a good offer for arrangement suddenly i cant bear to move away from them and feel scared? why is that so ? i mean i really cant stand my dad anymore .. he's really pissing me and being sacastic and all.i really cannot take it. its like
when i was keeping quiet doing my own business he would purposely provoke me to get a reaction. i know sometimes i have a short temper and i have been controlling but its really brining me down.

this will be my 1st time leaving the house. as i have said to myself once i leave i will not turn back and i even told my mom one i step out i got nothing to do with anyone else. am i being evil?.

my fiance made me delete my myspace page yesterday. I used it for nothing more than to communicate with my friends, that I actually know. He said he didn't want me to have it because 'he wanted to protect me' (we have a long distance relationship and he doesn't know all of my friends personally). My niece will be 13 at the time of the ceremony I want her to be my jr. bridesmaid and my nephew will 15 as a jr. groomsman. he denied his involvement saying it was friendship, then he lied and said he was going to work, but went to see a play that she was in. when i confronted him about it he said it was none of my business. then he told me that he hasnt loved me for a long time and just stayed with me because of the kids. a few weeks later he told me that he loved me but not the way a man should love his wife, but that he wanted us to work it out. later i found out that she told him that she didn't want anything to do with him. I figured that is why he wanted to work it out with me. i do love him, we have been together since i was 15 yrs. old , i an now 50. im so confused. Also, i sent this other woman an email telling her what he was up to. like doing compatibility charts, and trying to find out as much as he could on the internet. that really made him mad. he told me that i ruined his life because now he had to quit that job and go somewhere else. and he was told not to bother her again what wrong withme

I have just started dating a guy less than a week ago. He had asked me out before, but I was dating someone else at the time. my bf, then at the time ex's-in july-were hanging out and my ex at the time which now is my again bf gave me a James Avery ring with the words "True Love Waits" inscribed on it. tonite i was hanging out with my hun and we started talking about jewelry and i wanted to give him an example of how you can tell silver from other metals. i know that silver has the # 925 inscribed inside the ring or it is visible to the eye so you can tell if it is silver or fake. my hun told me that my ring is not silver but rather white gold. the thing is that he also told me that he customized and special ordered the ring. how can i tell the difference between the silver and white gold ring-which ever it may be- since i have been to the James Avery website and they have this ring only in yellow gold? what does he mean with this ring: is he serious about me and the whole realtionship?
