Weight watchers is something that I highly suggest and was very successful @ losing weight from it. Needless to say its easy to follow .. drink a lot of water, remove soda from your diet.. as well exercise. If you don't have time to hit a gym, get Walk Away the Pounds DVD (Walmart generally has it) .. its a 1 mile walk to 3 miles. Its easy but high results.
How long do you have to lose 80 lbs. Needless to say the safe guideline is 1 to 2 lbs a week. The first few weeks you will have high losses but it does slow down afterwards.
There are also a lot of Yahoo Groups dedicated to Weight Watchers to help as well.

I think diet alone will not do it. Also exercise. The treadmill is an excellent way of losing lots of calories. Try the Southbeach diet.

80 pounds? In how much time?
Cut down on fast foods, fatty foods, sugary foods and drinks. Eat more healthy foods such as fruits, vegetables, red meats/fish, and exercises daily such as power walking or jogging. That'll help you lose weight, but depends how much time you need. 80 pounds can take weeks to lose.
