I have just started dating a guy less than a week ago. He had asked me out before, but I was dating someone else at the time. We started going out, but he is very smothering and says things like he misses me etc. already and I don't think I know him well enough. My intuition tells me something is wrong with him and he kind of scares me. Do you think it is just because I finally went out with him and he is just happy I did?

Yes, do follow your intuition.
It is possible that he is really very much in love; but it's always a bit safer to put some distance between yourself and him - you will have some breathing space, and he, if he's honest, will enjoy the "chase".
But if he does scare you... being rough about it can cause problems, so be careful. Force him to take things slow, but don't flat out cut him out until you know what he'll do and can take precautions.

Women's and men's intuition is very real! Nine times outta ten if it doesn't look, feel, act or sound right, it usually isn't. Follow your heart. If he is smothering after only a few days he will probably be a stalker in 2 weeks so kick him to the curb and run like you are on the olympic track team! No it couldn't be that he is happy you finally went out with him. He's obviously lonely and has issues. You should be scared because he sounds crazy to me!

I've learned the hard way! Your intuition is right, stop making excuses to ignore it! BE SAFE! What if not only is there something wrong with him, but your soul mate is around the corner and you miss him because you wouldn't listen to yourself and get away from this guy? Not worth it sister! Be safe!

Some people are just more vocal about their feelings than others. If you have gut feelings just be careful. Check him out. Figure out what is making you feel uneasy. If it is for good reason then get away from him. I was once dating someone that made me feel uneasy. It turned out that i was very uncomfortable with some one paying attention to me and really caring about me. It took some careful working through but it worked out. We have been very happily married for four years. I have never been so loved or so much in love in my life. If I had gone with my instincts without checking it out I would have missed a great blessing.But do be careful.

hun if you have bad feelings over this for sure follow that gut intuition gut feeling are 98 to 100 percent right in us women now,guy's well say many things to make fools of us women now and if he scares you please stay away,once they win your heart you'll slowly lose every thing,a lil at a time until your under his control,he'll slowly take you self respect,just follow your gut feeling hun your heart will let you know if its or somes right for you..j-9 god bless you

my first husband was that way too, i thought it was just his way of showing and telling me that he cared about me. after we married, he turned into a total control freak, i couldn't even walk to the mailbox which was just in front of the house. if we drove anywhere he would make me lay down on the seat so i couldn't look at other guys. and when he came in from work he always drilled me on who i talked to that day and what was said, it always ended up in a fight. so take me advice and get out before it is too late.

go with your intuition. it does not lie, it will not hurt you and it tells you if something is wrong. in this case break up with the guy and move on, since your tuition is telling you that this guy is trouble ASAP!
