We met last year and then lost contact, but recently started talking again. I may have a chance to come visit him (he lives 3-4 hours away). I don't even necessarily have to have a relationship with him, I just want to know how to not totally turn him off to me. Thanks!

By NOT doing what you're doing now...being too cautious on what migh turn him off. Hey, if you can't be yourself around him then I'd say he's not right for you to begin with. Too often when people first meet or start dating they put on their "best face" forward. This is not a good idea IMO because if you can be relaxed, calm, confident, and yourself and HE still likes you then it just might work out.
This holds true for men and women. Though I realize I'm over-simplifying the whole deal. :P

Im a guy...
We are quite simple and uncomplicated, all we want is honesty and respect (after we have earned it) from you. Dress nicely and make an effort with yourself, you dont have to be a model or anything, just try to look as best you can. It will show us that if you care about yourself you will care about us! Be a lady, dont cuss or drink beer out a bottle.
If you do those simple things you will certainly NOT turn him off you.

Just be yourself and don't overthink it. Relationships are supposed to come naturally. If he seems to express an interest in you, then enjoy the time you spend with him.
It's people who try too hard who end up blowing it. If you show proper body language that indicates that you're open and you're interested, he'll hopefully get the message.

don't talk about your self incessantly, remain mysterious, make him drive to see you, men love the thrill of the chase, they want to catch the deer they don't want it laying at their door step, it is their natural instinct, go to a salon and get the works done so you feel good about yourself, men love confident women, don't act too insecure, not to cocky either mysterious baby
