Not necessarily. Mesmerized is like hypnotized in a nice way. You can be mesmerized physically to a person but that doesn't mean you're in love.

Being in love is not only being mesmerized, being in love means u r willing to sacrifice some things because you care so much about that person. You're treating the person like yourself. Sometimes, u even care more about the person more than yourself.
