that may be because none of the new guys are your ex? somtimes we want to replace our ex's with a guy who is similar so the pain is gone.

I don't believe there is a magic amount of time to mend a broken heart. It happens to everyone that has been in love. You may need to take a break and just have fun and enjoy single life for a while instead of trying to rush into another relationship. Do not feel bad about ending the relationships early. If you feel something is wrong, more than likely time will not fix it. A relationship takes work , but you should both feel as though you have not "settled".

I think it may be because you aren't fully over your ex. It's only been 7 months and it does take time to get over a breakup. You should just go out with them but not try to get serious so soon. Never use anyone on a rebound makes it harder for you to forget an ex. Just be a friend to them and who knows maybe down the road you will fall for one. Take your time and don't rush!

I know how you feel. It's been 9 years for me and I still feel the same way about him. Married and two kids later doesn't change the way I feel. When you love somebody that deeply, it never goes away.... you just have to learn how to deal with it. They say times heals all wounds, but they are wrong. In time we just learn how to cope, how to go on with our lives. If it was true love and you gave him your heart..... it will always belong to him.

Combination of both, you are afraid to open your heart and afraid of finding the right guy. Now from this point on, meet new people and be open and friendly, they will flock to you.

Once they flock, get to know them, just be yourself and that will be your door opener. Don't be afraid to risk, with risk comes moving ahead.

Good luck!

If you are truly moving on-quit holding on- you can no longer compare other relationships to the past. Allow yourself to meet different people- keep an open mind.

the saying 'time is a great healer' is very true.. give it time m8.. all will be ok, think we have all had our hearts ripped out by someone else but you have to dust yourself off and keep going.. best of luck.
