Does a transatlantic flight typically result in a greater number of harmful emissions than a sizeable container ship crossing the same ocean?

What if we divide the airplane's emissions by the number of people that it can carry - how does it compare to a public bus or a private car?

First of all, what is the relationship existing between legumes and nitrogen-fixing bacteria? Is it parasitism, mutualism, commensalism, or facilitation?

Second, a pine forest floor would be a fine-grained environment for which of the following: nematodes, toads, herbaceous plants, insects, or bears?

Fire suppression by humans...
(a) will always result in an increase in the # of species in a biome
(b) can change a species composition with communities
(c) is necessary for the protection of endangered species
(d) will result in a sustainable production of increased amount of wood for human use.
All the choices for the last question sound like they're false but one of them's true. I don't think it's a or d though

Thanks

Data from the Vostok and Law Dome ice core

Show that CO2 levels varied between a natural low of about 180 ppm to a natural high of about 280 ppm until about 1800. At this point, which is close to the beginning of the industrial revolution, CO2 levels began to increase above pre-industrial highs due to the release of CO2 from the burning of fossil fuels. Since then, annual average CO2 levels have increased monotonically with time to the current level of about 380 ppm.

http://www.cmdl.noaa.gov/ccgg/trends/

Post industrial revolution global temperature levels, however, have not shown a similar monotonic increase

http://data.giss.nasa.gov/gistemp/graphs/

If the recent warming trend is due to man made greenhouse gases, why does the temperature trend not correlate with the CO2 trend?

Same rules apply as to my first question.
