To make any difference, everyone has to be on board. And yes, we should decentralise and use local resources! But in an economy of growth, it just won't happened.

NOTHING the human race can do now is going to make the slightest difference ..

"Go green" if you like - at least it makes you feel good -

(I used to drive 3 miles to the recycle site until it was pointed out that the pollution caused by me driving the car to the recycle site was far greater than the pollution 'saved' by recycling ...)

To make any difference to the worlds problem of pollution everybody should re-cycle, or just stop using petrol driven vehicles, use horses instead.
