Just moved into a house with propane heat, which I have been told is cheaper and cleaner than the electric heat I had in my last apt. But we also have a fireplace..so wondering which is more environmentally sound for heating our house? Any ideas?

I have not been able to find the answer to this simple public health question. If blood that is drained from human bodies during the embalming process goes "down the drain" into the sewer or water purification system then this would be a major concern. If it is disposed of at a bio-hazard facility then I would like to know about it. There are certainly laws governing the process but I don't know what they are. It may seem like a stupid, morbid question but it is simply one that many of us don't bother to ask because of the pervasive denial and fear of death in human society. If someone knows the answer to this question then please inform us.

I think global warming is another way the Government is legally ripping us off.First off if motor vehicles are the main violaters then why are police cars, government official cars, state official cars and classic cars all smog exempt? Not to mention busses, big rigs, planes and trains military vehicles and boats are also smog exempt. Why doesn't anyone make an issue out of that instead of blabbling on and on and on about global warming.First off the weather conditions have never remained the same, earth is an ever changeing planet. If weather conditions did stay the same they would probably be alarmed about that too. Also does anyone ever take into concideration that China and Mexico along with other parts of the world create massive amounts of pollution? No they would rather beat us up for it and make it taboo to drive a motor vehicle.Because of the global warming lie it is not only costing us to drive but our jobs are dissappearing over seas as well, were they can operate more affordably.

So looking up some statistics on the Green House Effect on government websites and found out this:

The composition of Green House Gas -
0.2% is caused by man-made polution (including CO2)
0.6% plants breathing out CO2
~3% from other boi-processes
95% from water vapor

Who is going to be with me in going one step beyond liberals to curb global warming. Screw the 0.2%, help me cut back on that 95% by not taking steaming showers. Steam floats out of the bathroom into the atmosphere. The cold water will simply stay liquid.

COLD SHOWERS FOR THE ENVIRONMENT!!!

Venus is twice the distance to the sun as Mercury. However, it's surface temperature is higher than that of Mercury. How can this be?
Mercury has virtually no atmosphere. Venus has a thick atmosphere of about 95% carbon dioxide, an extreme example of the greenhouse effect. Why is there even a debate about the existence of this natural phenonomen?

all of it's connected and I may be 12 but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this one out. Our water has been weird because of global warming freezing the ice caps making polar bears, penguins and other animals extinct. This is cause by pollution in cars ran by gas that WE are running out of. While we make cars ppl spill things in the ocean by factories causing water pollution. It's scary where we are headed in our future. Population growth is the key to all out environmental dismay. It is a total mess and we are going down hill. Quite frankly it's scary where we are headed but we can stop it if you do something about it. Save anything request a law to lower population or highering illegal dumping fees, ANYTHING. Another thing that can help is to get a smaller car. Ppl I'm not asking u to buy a hybred but stop getting gas wasters ppl won't change cars because they feel big in a big car. how are we going to get over a problem if we can't get over our selfs. what will you do?

Add the discovery of "viral hemorrhagic septicema" in the waters of the Great Lakes to the ever-growing list of man's complete neglect of, and disrespect for his environment. The murderous legacy that we are leaving our children--it amounts to their own murder, let's not kid ourselves!! If we as a species do not start concentrating on the vital importance of the detoxification of our precious eco-systems, we won't even have a "carpet" to sweep anything under any more!
Is it SERIOUSLY more important for us to study the mating rituals of Brad and Angelina, as opposed to those of our remaining threatened and unthreatened species of life??! Are we so ignorant and so callous that we CONTINUE our one-way path to destruction?? Or will we fight side by side WITH ONE ANOTHER to combat the daily discovery of our ecologic atrocities??!

Teach your children well...

Is waste water completely pure after treatment?
Do you think our tap water is pure?
Has our tap water become cleaner over the years or has it become worse?
What can industries do about pollution?
What about industries that discharge their waste water in rivers because it is too expensive to treat?
What can you do as an individual? and do you think do you care enough about water pollution?

I already know the answers but what I would like to know is how much you know and how much you care. and please give serious answers because this is an important topic.
