The other day I was having a dilemma between using the paper roll (but that seem to be a problem with wasting paper) or using the heated fan (but that seems to be a problem with wasting energy)... what would be the best thing to do in terms of the environment?

I hate killing, yet I have a lot of friends who take gardening very seriously - some are completely self-sufficient! Is is a bad thing to kill the pests which ruin their crops? If they do not kill the pests, then the pests multiply and ruin the harvest. Any advice?

I live here and it is terible the lack of recyling of houshold waste that happens or doesnt. Can people on here tell me what there local authority recycles and then maybe write a letter to the isle of wight council pointing out that they are carp compared to many of the other authoritys out there. Maybee give them a simple guide to recylcing and tell them to get off their bottoms and do something about it! It is discusting !!

the month is sep,the mushrooms i found r covered in whitetish fibers r hairs if you will.they only grow out of cow dung as far as ive found.they dissvole on handling are sunlight the spore print is blackish

Can you put shredded paper in your green compost recycle bin?
I always think of Danny DeVito as the Penguin in Batman Returns taping together the shredded documents when I leave it out in a bag with the paper collection box.
