I'm personally thinking due to global warming it will be aquatic life such as sharks from flooding of the land in millions of years because maybe there won't be land one day? Or maybe a whole new life form will pop up. And then I suppose there's insects - they seem to be getting bigger all the time here! :)

What would you say to the person that says we should not worry about air pollution because through natural selection, the human species will develop lungs that can detoxify pollutants?

When you wash dishes, flush the toilet, or dump it in the sewers? The water has got to go somewhere it just can't vanish like that. Where do we get fresh, clean water? Don't tell me we re-use the dirty water and filter all that stuff out. That is totally gross because we use it for food, cleaning(health wise).Lol.

Given that co2 is a trace element, around 380 ppm, but water vapor is about 100 times greater in the atmosphere, (and keeping in mind that co2 has increased from a pre-industrial "base line" of about 280 ppm- or about 30% increase- or about 1/3 of a percent when taken into account with water vapor) how does this small amount account for the rise in overall global warming- given that water vapor is in constant flux?

Will we go back to riding horses to the local market to buy our food? Or will we maintain our current lifestyle using wind, solar and hydroelectric power?

since its a fact that there are spy satelites all around our planet, why is it you still read in scientific journals, that someone or other, has just discovered, old ruins somewhere, or new previously undiscovered habitats or whatever

Thanks to Dave for his question which prompted this answer.
Now I ask you what shall we do about this?

100 years ago CO2 was at 250 parts per million in the atmosphere. It is NOW at 425 parts per million.
Climate change will start with the melting of the ice caps at 450 parts per million, global catastrophy will start at about 550 parts per million.
At 550 parts per million, the gulf stream will reverse, the UK and western Europe will become almost uninhabitable, tidal effect will change and sea edge land masses will be underwater.
East Coast USA will become a near desert and the world population will have to survive on about 30% of the usable landmass for farming that we have today.
The USA and China are the two dirtiest countries in the world for the dumping of CO2 into the atmosphere.

Do you think that Climate change and CO2 should be an important talking point in the next USA elections?

Since 1970's I already beleive that another global change will happen as I am a technologiest. My theory is different from the rest but definitely I am with Al Gore that it will happen soon. We can definitely save our planet if politics, business and vested interest will be our last priority. I also beleive that other scientist ,politicians and businessmen knows the gravity of the situation. What information they dessiminate to the public is no were near what is to come.
