Most are underground, covered by vegatation, dirt. However, there have been some discoveries because of the satelites in space. They sometimes accidently take a picture of an area, and someone recognizes a mound that could be a pyramid. Check it out. It does happen.

Probably because the spy satellites are used in areas where people wish them to see what is going on. Also it would take you an infinite time to scan the whole planet just to find something that is missing when you don't know what you are looking at or for.

Most spy satellite are looking for something specific and not to find ruins as well as many are obscured by being buried or underwater or such, another reason is these million dollar things in the sky take pictures and these pictures are at very high resolution it would take many people too many years to look at every inch, besides don't you want them looking at terrorists before they get here and attack us again?

Even discounting buried ruins and other obscuring factors, the simple fact that the Earth's surface is REALLY REALLY BIG makes it very hard to spot individual objects on the surface.
Try using Google Earth, which is the closest average folks can come to these spy satellites, pick a l,ocation at random and try for yourself to find new features. It is really very, very hard to do.

They have just recently started to outfit those satellites with X-ray specs, similar to the ones they sell in the back of comic books. That is why many of these old ruins are just now getting discovered.

It takes time for pulbished materials to 'catch up' with the 'HERE AND NOW'
If you publish a magazine article for example it will months at best for it to hit the 'shelves'
In those few months, science is exploring and disovering new things.

Spy satellites can't see through dirt. Old ruins are usually buried.

The aliens covered the ruins with thin sheets of foil, just like we should use to cover the tops of our heads so they can't read our thoughts. Please stop, the government monitors these channels for people like us. From now on contact me on the underground. It's safer. Peace be with you, brother.
