Oil runs our civilisation: Transport, Haulage, Shipping, Fishing Farming (pesticides allow us to grow the quantities required), Medicine and hygiene, packaging, the building industry, road building and repairs etc etc etc. With global oil production peaking in 2006 what are your ideas to save mankind?

Out of these four prime elements, which one in your opinion is the most important? So, out of Earth (soil, sand, etc…), Wind (air, gas, etc…), Water (oceans, rain, etc…), and Fire (magma, the sun, etc…) which one is the *most* important?
