Seriously, nothing eats them, they only eat bamboo....why do we need them? It can't be to keep the bamboo in check because people can do that by continuing to use it for flooring.

He even had his own sub-category on Yahoo questions and had a ton of you people snowed they he actually cares about the environment. Look at his lifestyle, his holdings, and practices. He’s band-wagon environmentalist globe hopping on his G IV. I don’t think “buying” carbon credits are the answer either. This may be his way of dealing with his guilt but it doesn’t change tons of carbon spewing from his jet, houses, etc. Who of you can really believe this clown? Rally around the people that started this from the grass roots not they guys who have/had holdings in mining companies (sited for dumping toxic waste) and oil companies fined for emissions violations. Is he an example of all Democrats? They all live rich but want us to be poor?

Trying to find out what portion of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere come from human activity, as opposed to natural processes (e.g., volcanoes, forest fires, etc).

Now, considering only those greenhouse gases caused by human activity -- what portion of these greenhouse gases are caused by open fires (e.g., campfires, charcoal grilling, etc)

The company that manufactuers the device states the best method of checking is by weight however the filter weights approximately 680Kg, they give a limit of 4.75Kg from labeled weight. There should be a more accurate method without exposing the filter to gaseous H2S. Any suggestions are welcome.

I often read or hear a particular environment, such as the arctic, described as "fragile". I guess a related question is, what does it mean for an ecosystem to be fragile?

Well all the politically correct tree huggers and Al Gore zombies made Gobal Warming worse! The "NO CFC's rule" has officially backfired. Aren't you glad that the USA had the foresight to realize this and not sign up? And what are we going to do about it now? Can we not destroy the Ozone and not add Co2 at the same time?
