you mean you'd be really happy if the mice multiply cheerfully while the all the cats decided to switch to tofu mice because they are so much easier to catch?
You'd be waking up one morning and find all cheese in the larder nibbled into nothing and you won't like that a bit.

Where do you live that you have recently been threatened by a carnivor? Usually it's the other way round, human activities brings carnivors to the brink of extinction, see about eradication of wolves and bear is many areas.
But it's an interesting thought, if only the vegetarians among the humans would survive, would the world end up a better place?

The hell with human existance........and to that stupid statement!
You are obviously not an educated person in the field of biology are you.
I wont even begin to tell you where that statement is wrong, well basically everything after Did you know? is just rubbish.
I would love to see that....you would not be here is that were true. Nature has a balance, predators do what they must and without them the planet would be overrun by herbivores and they would all end up dying becasue of disease, because the predators were not controling their numbers and removing the sick individuals from the population....
Something has to take care of human existance or the genetic material that came up with that awful statement would be passed on to the next generation........terrible......

Read "thinking like a mountain" in Sand Country Almanac by Aldo Leopold

he used to kill wolves so there would be more deer, which he thought was a good thing. however the deer then overgrazed and "killed" the mountain.

If you are trying to say humans should eat less meat to reduce their ecological footprint then that is quantifiably true, as it is far more efficient, 10:1, to eat plants directly than after they have been fed to livestock.

No matter how you put it, I will beg to differ. Hyenas are carnivores, but they usually eat carrion. And I do not believe that scavengers threaten human lives; lest you think we (humans) should also clean up and eat road kills.

you idiot,
we're more harmful to carnivores than they are to us. plus carnivores exist for a reason. without carnivores, herbivore species would grow out of control, unbalancing the ecosystem.

How are they threatening our existence? Man threatens the existence of all large animals. Tigers, grizzly bears, polar bears, leopards and others are on the verge of extension because of man.

Tell me more. I could see it being feasible, but I wonder how you would keep the populations of the thousands of prey species in check.

Not true, most animals don't eat human flesh. Maybe it is our smell.
