Yes, there are cemetaries in the world that are quite crowded, with coffins buried very close to each other. Another way to maximize space is to put coffins in vaults above the ground. Many people are never buried at all. Cremation is becoming more common in places where burial used to be the norm. Some areas of the world, like India, have always burned the bodies of the dead.

no they do not -- most cemetaries have covenants on the land that is part of the contract that you sign when you purchase the plot. These spell out what can and cannot happen to the contents of the plot. Of course, in the case of government, they can do anything they want to that land and have in the past moved cemetaries and who knows what happens then. As for the family of the deceased, if they choose, they can add remains to any plot they own as long as it is within the acceptable use at the cemetary.

their bodies are already turned into useful fuels like oil that is really very helpful for our industry...some were turned into useful fertilizers for the plants existed and are still existing... you don't need to have a lot of cemeteries because this world is so vast... as you can see we still have a lot of space for dead bodies and ancient people didn't worry about that and that is why you also don't have to worry about the cemeteries 'coz there is no such term as overcrowded cemetery...unless there is such a cemetery where everybody wanted to be buried in a certain special cemetery
