Out of these four prime elements, which one in your opinion is the most important? So, out of Earth (soil, sand, etc…), Wind (air, gas, etc…), Water (oceans, rain, etc…), and Fire (magma, the sun, etc…) which one is the *most* important?
Keep in mind that it does not have to neccessarily be most important to human life - but you can talk from that perspective if you choose.Tell me why...

Well, since this question is in Science. None of the four are elements. Based on the original theory about these "elements" they are of equal importance and in the proper mixtures account for all of the natural world. Adding or subtracting from the delicate balance leads to disaster. I'll leave it to the reader to think about the different scenarios, but here's one. More Fire leads to global warming, less Air (as it escapes into space), less water (as it evaporates), earth is unchanged (until asteroids start impacting the earth after it's protective air is gone)

earth and fire are most important to me because without earth we would be floating in space and fire because without the sun we would have no light have a secound iceage which people are already talking about where i live.
i really like water though so its reallyn debateable
all of these elements help the earth in one way or another i find them all important now that i think about it.

Are we living in ancient Greece? The elements start with hydrogen and end with uranium, unless you include man-made elements along with them. Earth is a solid, wind is the force of gases felt by our skin, water is a liquid, and fire is the rapid reaction of oxygen and whatever it is combining with.

I'm thinking air because you'd die of suffocation before dehydration. Now if without the sun it was -5000 degrees or something that might kill you faster then suffocating, but realistically you'd need air to fuel fire, and therefore the sun.
And water is H2O..so ari is in water as well. So air definantly air.
But...I'm an earth sign and damned proud of it, so if your not pertaining it to human life then I say Earth..just because I want to.

Um...well your question still needs to be defined: important to what? clearly, human lif is not your chief concern, so I'm not surely what it...
However, my guess would be earth, because without earth you really don't have a stage for the other elements to play on. Or gas, because without Oxygen fire can't exist...and without earth, water would just float in space, and it would freeze or evaporate...into GAS!!! OMgosh, I'm changing my vote!!

I'd have to go with the majority and say water. Earth would be second, in my opinion, wind 3rd, and fire last. But wait... we kind of need fire to keep warm. I think all are pretty important.

Earth.
Reason being, all things considered, without good old mother earth, as a base platform, and rock being the predecessor of Tera Firma, (Earth), all of the other elements would be lost in space, so to speak.

Water eases the earthquake-like dirreah pangs bolting through my stomach. Does that answer your question, element boy? Do you like the Cat in the Hat starring that Austin Powers dude btw?

Water. All life on Earth needs it. And why shouldn't we mention human life? Aren't we important too?
