I'm a forensic science grad student and we study all three. We use molecular biology to analyze DNA, physics to analyze bloodstain patterns and firearm ballistics, and chemistry to identify foreign substances like drugs, paint, fibers, unidentified liquids, etc.

Biologist can check for DNA, chemist can check for chemicals found in a person's body. physicist, calculate everything mathematical like speed of car, angle of bullet etc etc.
