I have 4 citrus plants in my home. I also have ivies which are supposedly bad luck in some Celtic cultures. I am Celtic ancestry but not superstitious. On the otherhand, there may have been something to that question. Maybe citrus attract insects that could cause food to spoil in unrefridgerated conditions.

I have no clue.. I have an orange tree and it give the best fruit.. I share with my neighbors and family.. that doesn't sound so cursed to me..
