Hi

I am planning to apply MBA next year, but now I got a chance to become a product manager in a Fortune500 company. Is it better I go apply for MBA as an engineer or take this job and apply 2 years later?

Will working experience in management area (product manager/project manager) really help apply for top business schools? Is it worth I spending 2 years work as product manager, in the hope of applying for a better B-school? I m already 28 years old.

Thanks for comments.

Okay, so I'm a junior with high college dreams. I forgot to sign up for my SATs for January, but I have March, May, and June left (but I'm not sure if those are good dates for college apps.) I have a 4.26 cummulitive GPA and I take 4 AP classes, will be taking a college course this summer and do Mock Trial (and possibly track).
Am I on the right track to get into a private college? How can a reduce the stress in my life (without dropping anything, and possibly adding more things T_T) so that I'm not getting sick? Any techniques? Anything?

I am a sophmore in high school and I know that it is important to be involved is some type of community services before applying to college. I myself am a violinist and a group of three friends and I have been playing quartet (4 orchestral instruments) in hospitals, school events, and many places to 1. entertain and 2. believed that it is a type of community service (like mentally relaxing audience with music and all that sort of stuff)
But now that I already performed for more than 2 years I am starting to wonder is this the service that colleges wants to see? Because it seems to be different from other services in the sense that there is no sirect "serving and caretaking" involved...

Im really trying to figure out some college options. Im a junior, and by the time i send my applications to colleges I plan to have a 3.82 weighted Gpa, and a 1918 on the SAT. My main goal would be to get into UC Santa Barbara, or Cal Poly S.L.O. My first question is what are my chances at these 2 schools, and if anyone has any suggestions of other schools that would be great. Thanks alot for your time

Hi!

If you had a chance would you rather pay

a) $75,000 to go to the best university in the country

or

b) pay $30,000 to go to a university that not many have heard of

p.s. its easy to get a student loan from the government with little or not interest until you work in my country

also is it true that in America anyone can get a degree no matter how bad the marks they got at high school?

major: premed/biomed engineering
well here are my guaranteed safety schools through ELC: UC Irvine, UC Santa Barbara, UC Santa Cruz, UC San Diego

I also applied, but not guaranteed: UCLA and UC berkeley

so what would you choose between these choices if i don't get into either UCLA or CAL:
UCSD vs UCI why?
UCSB vs UCSC why?

I have two degrees, one in Economics and the other in Political Science. I'm in law school, and I'm planning on becoming a professor, but I'm interested in having a background in other subjects (mainly psychology).

Does anyone know if I could get an A.A. in psychology at the local community college if I already have a more advanced degree?

I'll be starting college soon and I was wondering if roommates sleep and sit around in their underwear while their other roommates are around.
Also... Do college guys masturbate in their dorm rooms, or do they avoid doing that while at college?

I recently got a .9 GPA for my Fall Semester. I am a freshman and anything below a .99 qualifies as academic suspension.

I have no idea what this means, but I plan on writing an appeal. I have battled depression this semester and college has been very overwhelming for me. I realize what went wrong, and I really need help!

Are universities extremely harsh with appeals? I would think since it's my first semester and I'm close to the cut-off point that they would hopefully give me a second chance, but I don't know anything about that.

Otherwise, if it is denied, how long does a suspension usually last? I planned on taking summer courses, so would I be able to come back in the summer?

I never thought about this before until now;

At every school that I will be applying to, I will be considered "out of state" and will have to pay somewhere between an extra $2,000-7,000/year to attend.

But in the state of Colorado, for example, you only have to live in the state for one year to be considered in-state. Soo, come sophomore year and on, I'm automatically in-state, right?

--I know, stupid question, but with this college stuff, you never know.--
