Even though I've already applied to colleges under a different major, I've recently become interested in becoming a Radiologist. I'm willing to bust my *** to get my doctorate, but which schools offer MDs for Radiology? Thanks in advance.

Hey I'm a business major who will be pursuing one of the two mentioned majors. I've always done fine in math and even got a B in calculus, but for whatever reason I have never been able to grasph logarithims, and natural logs. They always kill me and hurt my grades too.

How important are they within the accounting and finance majors, and the business world in general?

I am going to college next year at Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi. I went to highschool at a decent private school in Mississippi and will graduate with roughly a 97 average.

I would really like to become a physician but it seems like a nearly impossible path with all the tests, studying, etc. If I made good grades in highschool, will I most likely make good grades in college if I put in the time and effort?

I know this sounds like a stupid question but I have been worried lately for some reason.

I just turned in my college application. I am not nervous but I am eager to know my admission chances. I am from India. I have a gpa of about 3.7(we dnt have gpa in India, I m jus givin US equivalent), but I m 1st in my graduating class(of 60) Since my high school doesnt award high grades easily, would my rank cover up for a low gpa? I got a SAT of 1830 (really low verbal score) but a high TOEFL score of 110. Excellent recs, one said that I was special. I got a couple of awards in international science presentation, national level finalist in science exhibition. I have also been honored by the state government on republic day(not a small thing). Do I have any chance in Cornell or Sanford? I have also applied to Brandeis, Grinnell and Macalester(any chance?)

Actually I got unusual family circumstances. In short, due to medical condition of my dad, we faced a lot of money shortage(no social security in India; if u cant earn, u suffer). I mentioned that, would I get any consideration

Examples: how many sets of sheets? Laundry basket? Towels? My son will be going away next year and I want to start buying things that he can take with him. I also want him to use them...not go wasted because they are not what an 18 yr. old would want.

I'm a junior in high school right now and just recently took the ACT. And I didn't do to well. I made a 20 and I thought I would have done better although I guessed a few times at the ends of some of the test because there isn't much time. But anyways, I have a little above a 3.9 GPA. I'm in a few clubs (treasurer in one of them) and played basketball for 2 years. I plan on doing community service with church this summer so I can get community service hours. I have more then enough money so thats not a problem but I just don't know if I'll be accepted. I plan on taking the ACT again but I don't know if I can drastically move my score up. Can I still get in with a 20? (although I know I'll atleast do a little better)

I am planning to apply to several universities in UK, in the field of Communication studies. I can ask my Psychology or English teachers or the deputy headmaster. I can submit only a recommendation letter, so I have to decide soon.

I'm from Oregon and I'm in my second year at a community college and I really want to get away from the rain and be out on my own! I've been looking at a few of the Cal State colleges and I'm just wondering if anyone could help me out a little. Does anyone know which Cal state school is known for their teaching programs? (i want to become an elementary school teacher) Since I would be paying out-of-state tuition, which school would be cheapest? These are two of the main things I'm looking for the most. I'd also like to be near the beach so I can run with my dog :)
