I have inquired about certain associates degrees and have yet to recieve a response from any of the colleges I have inquired to. I am not sure what the difference is between graphic design and media arts is. I have a background with AutoCAD drawing construction projects. I like what I do, but I know an Associates Degree would definetly open a lot of doors. Please help with any suggestions between the two. I also looked into Game design as well. Let me know what you chose and if it worked out for your professionaly.

Thank you

My plan is to attend business school after I graduate with a BA in my engineering degree in june 2008. I'm really afraid though that I won't get into a top program because of my lack of work experience. Does anyone have any words of advice like how I can make my admissions packet look stellar?

Does it really matter if an MBA degree is from Wharton or a less prestigious school?

hey, i want to eventually go to pharmacy grad school but alot of schools dont actually have a pre pharmacy major, so could i major in chemistry? in schools where there IS a prepharmacy major, you only go to undergraduate school for two years then graduate school.. how would that work if i major in chemistry? would i have to do four years and then another four years of grad school , or two years of chemistry then pharmacy grad school?

Thats non science. Some people think you need a science major, but I know you dont. I was thinking of psychology or philosophy because they are very interesting. What do you think?

I have always set my goal for Harvard, but all I want to do is write books, the thing is that I don't know if I should still go with Harvard, or should I just find a school that specializes in writing? What would help me most?

My younger sister just got her 1st semester grades for her senior year in high school and she's freaking out.

Here's the deal. I'm a junior in college, but she still lives with our dad in New Jersey and was hoping to attend college in the midwest, near my mother and much more of our family. She won't listen to me so maybe if you help me out she'll listen if more people start saying things.

She got accepted at her first four choices: Purdue, Ohio State University, Michigan State University, and the University of Chicago. Her semester grades are as follows: A, A-, A, A, A, D+. She took a class (a college class - dual-enrolled) that was obviously over her head but maintained the rest of her grades.

She's freaking out, as our our parents, that all four schools will revoke her acceptance upon seeing that horrific grade. Her GPA wasn't affected much, she still maintained above a 3.5 (non-weighted on a 4.0 scale). Do you think any of those schools would take away her acceptance?

I have been reading the blogs wondering if I should return to school. I have been a paramedic for quite some time. I am at the point where I no longer like the work, or I just can't physically take it. My concerns are; I own two homes (one is a rental) so that's two payments to worry about. I plan on studying chemistry, so on-line is out of the question. I only need about two years to complete the BS. Luckly, I inherited some money, so it is possible that I quit my job and go back full time. But, it's nerve racking thinking about not having a steady source of income. Also, the fear of really hard classes. I know that it will be a challenge to finish, but I can't be a Medic forever. Let me know if you know someone, or had a similar situation.

I want to apply to veterinary school later (I'm only a freshmen) and I want to start researching vet schools now to make sure I'm on the right track. I want to know which schools are almost exclusive to residents of that state so I don't even bother to look into them. I am a resident of New York state, by that way. Thanks!

Description:
Boston College requires a online payment application, the first time I sent it I forgot to send the payment. With common sense, I sent it again with payment. However, I am a bit timorous if colleges abhor careless mistakes like these. To the people who are experienced, is this just another minor mistake with no consequences, or is this something that will potentially affect the chances of my entrance to the college?

I'm pretty sure you've answered one of my questions before and you know how amazing I think Yale is. Well one of my friends got accepted into Yale with:
SAT - 2310
GPA - 4.5 weighted/#2 in class
E.C. - cross country, stuco (student boy veep), dance team, ballet, nhs, math honor society, anchor club, student recruitment team. All of them for 4 years.
She probably had a killer essay as well.

My question is what do you think it is that made her "stand out"?
