HI, I'm 18 and I didn't make it to my first semester. (Money) So I will be going to my second thou. How can I make up for the first semester I miss? My mom said the summer classes are too fast. So what shoudl I do?

if you're studying something specific, you'll have to take the classes you would have taken your first semester. you can't just not take them.

summer classes are very helpful, don't look past them.
they're usually the same length as the class is during a semester.

for example, you want to take a math class over the summer and it's 3 hours long, every day for about two months. that's pretty close to taking the course three times a week for 45 minutes, over a span of a little less than four months.

if you can't take summer courses, talk to your adviser about what you can do. it sounds like you'll just have to go an extra semester, and be a semester behind what would be your graduating class.

It's not like high school. You don't have to make up anything. You just start going to school and take as long as you need to finish. I took 5 1/2 years (3 1/2 for my AA and 2 years for my BA). One tip, the more classes you take, the faster you'll get it done. Take at least 4-5 classes per semester to stay on track.
