Just wondering if anyone has ever completed the MBA Program at Strayer University. If so, did you like it and did it help you to further your career? Also, did you have to write a thesis?

I have not completed an MBA from Strayer but know many who have. They hold a regional accreditation, the same accreditation as schools like Georgetown, George Washington, Penn State, Etc...

You do have to write a "directed research project" similar to a thesis, it is around 100 pages of original material. If you currently have a job ask your employer about their thoughts about Strayer. I know that many large corporations and government agencies pay for their employees to go to Strayer.

All I can say is, don't do it! This is not a real school but a commercial enterprise, and not even one of the better-recognized ones. Their concern is in making money, and since many employers don't recognize this kind of MBA at all, it won't help your career. I can't imagine that you would have to write a thesis - who would read it?
