I want to apply to veterinary school later (I'm only a freshmen) and I want to start researching vet schools now to make sure I'm on the right track. I want to know which schools are almost exclusive to residents of that state so I don't even bother to look into them. I am a resident of New York state, by that way. Thanks!

Most of them reserve the majority of slots for residents of their state -- or another state that contracts with them. Most also have a few (very few) open slots.

Living in NY, your best shot is Cornell.

The link below has information on residency requirements for all 28 Vet schools.
