I got into both schools, my two favorites, but are completely different schools. Pitt is huge, lots of choices whereas everything at MCPHS is in one big building. I like both schools and it's so hard to decide. I got into Pitt's 2+4 pharmacy program and the 0+6 pharmacy program at MCPHS.

I know Pitt has a great reputation in healthcare, but MCPHS is known for its pharmacy. I got $6000 scholarship from MCPHS and none from Pitt.

I've searched around the internet, and everyone said MCPHS is HARD to get into, even harder to get into than USP. I don't get it. their requiremen and average SAT is pretty low. and I got wait listed at USP. is MCPHS really a good school with a good reputation, compared to Pitt??

I am a freshman in college now and i recently ended my first semester. During this first semester I have been through alot of problems concerning paying for college. My mom ended up fixing things and it was up to me to not waste the money and go to class. I did the exact opposite and the worst thing is that I lied to my parents about my grades. I am on academic probation and my parents recently found out. My mom was very upset and it seems like she gave up on me. After seeing my mothers face I vowed to myself that I would find a way to gain back my mothers trust and go back this semester but I dont know how to pay for college by myself while on academic probation. Please help i need advise!

I only need 2 more classes to complete my Associates degree in the Spring. Each class is worth 3 credits. The thing is that I have signed up for 4 classes. Do you guys know if any of the extra credits over 60 count towards my bachelors degree? For example, if I have 55 total credits and I take Four 3 credit classes, then ill have 67 total credits. Do those extra 7 credits count towards my bachelors, or are they wasted classes that only help boost my GPA?

Thanks for any responses.

Hello, I am graduating from UMASS Dartmouth with a degree in economics at the end of the spring semester and am considering going to school for an MBA. What schools are the best in terms of "bang for the buck"? I have a GPA of about 3.68, so I am not really sure if I can get into the upper echelon schools, so I am looking to find a school that is very good and reputable, but also somwhat of a bragain for how good it is? If no, such school exists, just give me an idea of what the best to apply to would be.

I'm only a soph. in highschool but a lot of adults i know and my school are encouraging me to try and find places that take internships over the summer so we can get a better idea of what we want to be when we're older. I didn't even think internships to sophmores were given. I really wanted an internship at Rolling Stone Magazine in nyc but i'm not sure if they're offered to people my age...does anyone know?

I'm supposed to sign up for a "New Student Orientation" at University of Arizona for this summer, but I'm not sure if I should do the whole "stay in a dorm room w/ another student" thing or If I should just stay in a nearby hotel. Also, do parents go to these orientation things with their kids? U of A charges $75 for each additional guest, so it kind of made me wonder if parents are even supposed to go. FYI... the UofA orientation is basically just taking a series of placement tests, sitting through some long presentations, getting your student ID, etc... but this is all over the course of two days.

I was wondering if you had to have former experience with a certain sport to play it in college. I would love to be a part of a sports group in college and start a new sport, but i am afraid that since i have never played that sport i will still not be able to play it in college.

Is this true or are there more beginner groups or any open groups?

I'm currently living at home and attending a community college. Problems at home have been stressing me out and I'm at my breaking point. This has been going on for over two years now, which is why I dropped out of a four-year university and took an entire year off.

Once again, I can't handle being here and yet, I can't afford to be on my own with what I earn from my part-time job.

I just want to get out of here so that I can focus with school and get these people who bother me out of my head. This is just too much for me. They cause me too much pain.

I don't have anywhere else to go.

Can I get a loan for this? Advice?
