I've been out of HS school for a while, ok 5 years...I just cant jump into a 4 year University can I?

I figured it'd be easier getting into a Community College and transfer to a four yr University...

The only difference is that for most 4-year universities, you would need to take the SAT or ACT. If your high school grades were good enough to get you into a 4-year college at the time, I would definitely go for that rather than going the community college route, which could take longer and keep you from being able to do what you actually want to do.

If your grades are good enough, and reflect in your application essay or interview on how working in the real world for the past 5 years have given you direction and focus, I don't believe it's a problem to get into a 4yr university. Give it a try.
